The U.S. is not a democracy, nor was it ever intended to be one, since the Founding Fathers understood that a democracy is an inherently unstable entity that rapidly devolves into mob rule and the tyranny of the many over the few. This, in turn, is always replaced by a dictatorship. The U.S. was intended to be a republic (albeit a democratic, or representational republic), a nation of laws where the supreme law is the Constitution. The popular election of many officials is intended to allow citizens to control the government, to prevent it from becoming a tyranny. But the election process has become so corrupted that we no longer have free and fair elections — and we have lost our Republic.

It is impossible to have meaningful elections if the voting public is not accurately informed on the issues by the fourth estate — an honest media that is kept honest by competition between many media outlets. But, increasingly over the decades, print and electronic media have come under the control of fewer and fewer people, and those people are exceedingly wealthy and out of touch with most of us commoners. Most patriot conservatives now agree that some 90% of all media outlets are controlled by six corporations: Comcast, News Corp, Disney, Viacom, Time Warner, and CBS. These, in turn, are controlled by some 232 media executives, but really a much smaller number of CEOs and other top people make most of the decisions. And almost all the outlets they control are very left of what used to be the center, favoring welfare, the homosexual agenda, open borders, and stronger central government. The major media outlets heavily favored the Clintons and our current King Hussein. The few relatively conservative outlets, like Fox News, tend to support the Republican establishment, most of whom differ little, if at all, from their Democrat counterparts. The last vestiges of a free media are found in a few magazines and newsletters, talk radio, and the internet, and even the net has been heavily penetrated by leftist organizations.

In addition we have National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting Service, created by the 1967 Public Broadcasting Act, signed into law by Democrat Lyndon Baines Johnson. These outlets are funded in part by our tax dollars and in part by private donors, mainly very powerful ones like George Soros’ “Open Society” Institute. Unsurprisingly, PBS and NPR tend to be leftist, and their audience is 43% Democrat and only 17% Republican.

It is no secret that public schools and most universities have degenerated into indoctrination centers where impressionable young people are dumbed down and indoctrinated in the glories of promiscuity, sexual perversion, and Islam. People who have spent their formative years in these “schools” and then go on to “universities” where “diversity” does not extend to differing opinions are unlikely to become informed voters capable of critical thinking.

Politics is so dominated by the two main parties that it is next to impossible for an independent or a third party candidate to be elected to high office. And the candidates selected by the major parties may not be the ones favored by most of the primary voters. If no one has a clear majority in the primary, a brokered convention results, where backroom deals are made and delegates are freed to vote, not necessarily for the candidate they pledged to support, but for any of the candidates. Needless to say, the party establishment is likely to dominate such a convention and continue business as usual — a “business” that is literally wrecking our country. This is all the more true because super delegates (party leaders and office holders, including Congress critters and governors) can vote as they please in the primary.

In 1965 the Immigration Act, introduced by leftist Ted Kennedy, eliminated national quotas. Immigration increased, and the new rules led to fewer European immigrants and more from Asia, Latin America, and the Third World. Many of these people became dependent on welfare. Many were uneducated, even semiliterate. And most had no concept of individual liberties and limited government. They tend to vote heavily Democratic; almost certainly, this was intended from the beginning. By 2000 the government admitted that we had over 31 million legal immigrants, with eight million from Asia, 881,000 Africans, and over 16 million from Latin America. For illegal immigrants there has been one amnesty after another; each time, our leaders promise us that this will be the last one. DHS admits that there are now some 11.4 million illegal aliens in our former Republic; the real number is almost certainly much, much higher. King Hussein is importing tens of thousands more, including “Syrian refugees.” After all, that has worked out beautifully in Europe. And he is attempting to make many hundreds of thousands of immigrants into citizens in time for the 2016 elections. You cannot have fair elections when one party can import voters.

Welfare (and, to a lesser degree, lucrative government employment) is a massive vote buying scheme paid for by our tax dollars. Welfare recipients know full well that it is the leftist politicians who give them their free stuff, and it is no coincidence that the left does everything possible to register welfare recipients and encourage them to vote. In 2013 109,631,000 Americans (and immigrants) were recipients of various forms of welfare, counting food stamps and Medicaid, and there were only 105,862,000 full time workers. Today the situation is even worse.

As far as more blatant fraud, voting machines can easily be rigged. The 2012 election was very close, and, to give but one example of probable fraud by Democrats, Hussein got over 99% of the vote in 100 inner city precincts in Ohio. In several of those precincts, Romney got zero votes. Many voters complained that they voted for Romney and the machine switched their vote to Hussein. The cowardly and unprincipled Republican leadership refused to protest this and call for a full investigation. And now the leftists want to do away with all proof of citizenship for voters, and all requirements for official picture ID. They claim that it is somehow “racist” to demand picture ID, but, to a leftist, anything or anyone they don’t like (and they are accomplished haters) is “racist.” Clearly, the real reason is to allow more widespread election fraud, including voting by non-citizens.

And, if all else fails and an “unsuitable” candidate is likely to be elected, there is always the last resort: assassination. Don’t put it past the people currently in power.
