Many Americans are increasingly concerned about Joe Biden’s age (81) and his mental acuity. Our oldest president wants four more years, but voters don’t believe he’s up to the task. Biden shills insist he’s totally fine and hasn’t lost a step.
 
Now comes a detailed Wall Street Journal report warning that Biden is showing “signs of slipping” behind closed doors. This blockbuster story did not come from the Journal’s right-leaning editorial board, but from its left-leaning news division.
 
Three reporters interviewed more than 45 people, including Democrat and Republican members of Congress. What they saw in private left them deeply worried.
 
Former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy told the Journal, “I used to meet with him when he was vice president… He’s not the same person.”
 
Others said Biden frequently mumbles so softly they have trouble hearing him. They said he is dependent on notes “to make obvious points” and often looks to staffers for answers. He even appeared to fall asleep during one White House meeting.
 
The Wall Street Journal report is sending shockwaves throughout Washington. The White House immediately went into damage control mode and attacked the article. But it’s not just the Wall Street Journal.
 
Massimo Calabresi, Time’s Washington bureau chief, recently interviewed Biden. Other media outlets reported that the interview was “gaffe-filled” and “disastrous.”
 
On CNN this week, Calabresi put it as delicately as he could, saying, “He appears very much as he appears on TV [bad]. He is older than when he started in office, it’s visible.”
 
Speaking with Sean Hannity Wednesday night, Donald Trump expressed his concern that Biden is stumbling into World War III at a moment when he’s “not at the top of his game.” He’s right — and it should frighten us all.
 
It is inconceivable that this man could be president for the next four years. If he is incapacitated, that means Kamala Harris will be president of the United States. Once that starts to sink in, I predict the number of people praying for the country will shoot up exponentially.
 
 
 
Biden’s Performance
 
Joe Biden ably delivered his remarks at yesterday’s ceremony in France, commemorating the anniversary of D-Day. It almost seemed as if they had “juiced” him up again.
 
But there was a bizarre moment. After shaking hands with French President Macron, all of a sudden Biden starts to sit down. Then he straightens up again and starts to sit down again.
 
Jill, who was standing next to her husband, was smart enough not to grab him since that would look like he was unstable. Instead, she covered her mouth with her hand and appeared to tell Joe, “Stand up!”
 
As soon as the event was over, both Bidens bolted out of there, while Macron stayed to talk with veterans.
 
 
 
Deep State Lies
 
This is not new news, but it’s worth addressing again so people understand what we are up against.
 
As you know, Hunter Biden is standing trial right now on federal gun charges. The main exhibit being used by Justice Department prosecutors to prove their case is Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop.
 
This is the same laptop that 51 top former intelligence officials said was “Russian disinformation.” The FBI told social media outlets that the Russians were about to launch a disinformation campaign targeting Hunter during the 2020 election.
 
When the laptop story broke, all the social media companies and other news outlets quickly shut down any discussion of the laptop.
 
But the FBI lied. They knew the laptop was real. They had it in their possession for months.
 
The Deep State lied so its media allies would censor the news to prevent the American people from learning the truth. It was blatant election interference by 51 intelligence officials and the FBI.
 
When Donald Trump brought up the laptop in a presidential debate, Joe Biden cited all the intelligence experts, including five former CIA directors, and accused Trump of lying. It was a big moment in the debate. You can watch it here.
 
By the way, Biden was sharp and energetic during that exchange. We haven’t seen that Joe Biden in three years!
 
But it was Biden and his Deep State gang who were lying the whole time. And not one of those 51 intelligence officials or anyone at the FBI has been held accountable.
 
Many of them are getting rich consulting with major corporations and appearing on CNN and MSNBC. These men, charged with keeping us safe, wanted the hapless Joe Biden over the candidate who wanted to make America great again.
 
That’s the real threat to democracy.
 
 
 
More Lies Exposed
 
Do you recall Cassidy Hutchinson’s dramatic testimony before the January 6th Committee?
 
It was Hutchinson, a former Trump White House aide, who in June 2022 told the world that Donald Trump wanted to go to Capitol Hill to lead the so-called “insurrection,” but the Secret Service wouldn’t take him there. Cassidy said a furious Trump lunged across the vehicle and tried to grab the wheel.
 
That story went all over America to help establish the narrative that what happened on January 6th was an “insurrection” led by Donald Trump to overthrow the government of the United States.
 
It was all a disgusting lie, and the January 6th Committee knew it was a lie.
 
Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) is leading the investigation into the conduct of the January 6th Committee. He told Just The News he has evidence that Trump’s Secret Service driver repeatedly asked to testify to refute Hutchinson’s lies. Trump never reached for the wheel, and Hutchinson wasn’t even in the vehicle.
 
But Liz Cheney — “Ms. Republican” and the former vice president’s daughter — blocked the driver’s testimony until the day before the 2022 midterm elections, long after many votes were cast in an election dominated by the nonstop “insurrection” narrative.
 
The January 6th Committee spread lies and disinformation and didn’t want anything that contradicted their false narrative to be known.
 
 
 
The Persecution Continues
 
Steve Bannon, a leading voice of the MAGA movement, was convicted two years ago for defying a subpoena from the January 6th Committee. Yesterday, he was ordered to report to prison on July 1st, even though he is still appealing his conviction.
 
Just another example of the left’s never-ending lawfare.
 
Peter Navarro, a former Trump trade adviser, is currently in jail. He recently said that many of the other inmates understand something is deeply wrong in America, and they “love Donald Trump.”
 
 
 
Remembering D-Day
 
Yesterday marked the 80th anniversary of D-Day. More than 150,000 American and Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy in a surprise invasion that began the liberation of Europe and, ultimately, ended Adolf Hitler’s tyranny.
 
Forty years ago, President Ronald Reagan memorialized the sacrifices of those courageous men in his famous Pointe du Hoc speech. Below is a brief excerpt.
 
“Behind me is a memorial that symbolizes the Ranger daggers that were thrust into the top of these cliffs. And before me are the men who put them there. These are the boys of Pointe du Hoc… These are the heroes who helped end a war…
 
"The men of Normandy had faith that what they were doing was right, faith that they fought for all humanity, faith that a just God would grant them mercy on this beachhead or on the next…
 
"Here, in this place where the West held together, let us make a vow to our dead. Let us show them by our actions that we understand what they died for. Let our actions say to them the words for which General Matthew Ridgway listened: ‘I will not fail thee nor forsake thee.’”
 
Of course, we should honor those who saved the world from such horrible evil. But this means more than just looking back in reverence. Their sacrifices should also remind us that we, too, have an obligation not to forsake what they saved for us.
 
This is a great message to consider as we think about what each of us can do this year as our Republic hangs by a thread and our freedom is threatened not just by external enemies but by powerful forces within that intend to rule by any means necessary.
