Identity politics has been at the heart of Democratic Party policy for years, and Kamala Harris is no different. However, unlike her predecessors, Harris is not only talentless, ignorant and — despite the Stalin-esque propagandizing efforts of the legacy media — just as unpopular as her opponent; identity politics isn’t one of many tools in her arsenal: it’s the only tool.

Except for Tim Walz, of course.

Devoid of public beliefs (her campaign website is utterly empty of actual policy proposals) and marred by her ridiculous radicalism of 2020 (which included calls to ban fracking, free health care for illegal immigrants, and even the idea that murderers and terrorists should have the right to vote), she’s having to lean on her last remaining asset in a broken society: the fact that she is a Black woman.

Not only is she a Black woman, but she’s a Black woman standing against the supposed threat to women represented by Donald Trump, which would be tantamount to an orange version of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” but without the pesky religious overtones.

The central issue with identity politics, of course, is that it’s rooted in the bigoted lie that people can be grouped in neat political categories based on immutable identity characteristics like race, sex and sexual orientation.

In the words of Joe Biden, the supposed George Washington of our time, “you ain’t Black” unless you voted for him.

And here’s where Harris’ complete ineptitude comes in. To be an effective pusher of the lie of identity politics, you must be able to convince your audience that your compassion for minorities is completely authentic while also applying just enough nuance to your arguments to hide its divisive nature.

Where people like Barack Obama — one of the most divisive presidents in modern American history — succeeded, Harris is going to fail.

First, Harris is about as authentic as LeBron James’ hairline. Her accent changes more times than Russell Brand in “Rock of Ages,” she treats mild media questioning like a handsy leper, and she thinks Tupac is the best rapper alive.

But more importantly, Harris believes she can hide by throwing her weight behind a paint-by-numbers version of “Believe All Women” and get away with it.

For example, one of her campaign’s latest slogans is “Trust women.”

“Trust them to make decisions about their own body, health care, and future,” she announced to the same crowd that can’t define what a woman is.

But let’s pretend we live in a world where the definition of “woman” isn’t bizarrely controversial. Harris’ claim to speak for all women is as sexist as it is arrogant.

When she calls for us to “trust women,” what about the women who don’t want their children injected with experimental, ineffective and unnecessary COVID-19 vaccines?

What about women who want to be able to choose where their children go to school?

What about women who want to own firearms?

What about women who want to be able to go jogging on their campus without being attacked by illegal immigrants?

What about women who want to enjoy cheaper energy prices by leveraging fracking?

What about women who oppose abortion?

What about women who don’t want to see their taxpayer funds being delivered to the clutches of genocidal rapists in the Gaza Strip?

What about women who dare to vote for Trump?

The United States is far ahead of so many other developed nations but lags behind in one area: its obsession with identity politics. If people don’t wake up to the absolute absurdity of this toxic ideology when its mouthpiece is someone as moronic as Kamala Harris, then this country might doom itself to an eternity of caring more about the color of our skin, the country of our birth, or the reproductive organs in our pants than the content of our character.
