One Year Later
The Biden/Harris administration made it their top priority in the Middle East to get along with Iran. And here we are today.
One year ago yesterday, Hamas terrorists launched a completely unprovoked attack against the Israeli people. It was a bloodbath. Twelve hundred Israelis were killed. More than 3,400 were wounded.
Even now, the atrocities are hard to imagine. Babies were put into ovens. Parents were murdered in front of their children. Women and children were raped. Four Americans are still being held hostage by Hamas, although you wouldn’t know it from the lack of interest at the Biden/Harris White House.
In the year since, Israel has decimated Hamas in Gaza. Now Israel is fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis are all backed by Iran.
In the year since the October 7th attack, more than 26,000 drones, missiles, and rockets have been fired into Israel by Iran and its terrorist proxies.
The Biden/Harris administration made it their top priority in the Middle East to get along with Iran. They tried to make deals with the ayatollah. They lifted sanctions, giving Tehran’s terrorist regime billions of dollars. And here we are today.
Speaking to Israeli soldiers near the border of Lebanon, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday:
“A year ago, we took a terrible blow. In the 12 months since then, we have changed the reality across the board. The entire world is astonished by the blows you are landing on our enemies. I salute you and tell you: You are the generation of victory. Together we will fight and together we will win — with God’s help.”
Something else happened in the past year. We can no longer deny the rampant antisemitism here in America. According to the Anti-Defamation League, antisemitic incidents in the United States went up 200% over the past year.
Antisemitism is in academia, the media, and in the halls of Congress. It’s prevalent among the progressive left. University presidents lost their jobs because they couldn’t cope with it. Terrorist flags flew in the streets of our major cities and on our university campuses.
This did not happen during the Trump administration. It happened under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who put America and Israel last.
Bribing Israel
What happened on October 7, 2023, and all the way to today is the result of Iran’s hatred toward the Jewish state. When Iran launched waves of missiles at Israel, we helped Israel defend itself. But the Biden/Harris administration immediately shifts to restraining Israel from responding to Iran’s attacks. So, they are with Israel only if it’s playing defense.
Last week, Joe Biden said Israel should not strike Iran’s nuclear weapons program. A few days later, he said they were discussing possible strikes on Iran’s oil fields. On Friday, Biden said Israel shouldn’t hit Iran’s oil fields.
Now, Israeli media are reporting that the Biden/Harris administration is trying to bribe Israel to not strike certain targets in Iran.
The Biden/Harris administration is putting a monetary value on the most valuable targets in Iran and telling Israel, “You can have A, B, and C if you don’t target X, Y, and Z in Iran.” So, we’re effectively saving Iran money by sparing their high-value targets under the ruse of giving money to Israel.
The Biden/Harris administration is also offering Israel a “total guarantee of comprehensive diplomatic protection,” meaning we will protect Israel diplomatically at the UN. But if Israel acts on its own, well, all bets are off, and we might not veto UN resolutions or actual UN threats against Israel.
The Muslim Vote
The Harris campaign has been working overtime to win over Muslim voters in Michigan and Minnesota, just as we were heading into the one-year anniversary of the Hamas attack against Israel.
Last Wednesday, Harris’s national security adviser Phil Gordon held a virtual meeting with Muslim, Arab, and Palestinian leaders. Thursday, Gov. Tim Walz met with Emgage Action, a Muslim political group.
And the next day, Kamala Harris met with Muslim leaders in Flint, Michigan. It was a very low-key event with no cameras. They seemed very happy afterward and suggested there would be no problem getting the Muslim vote out for Harris. In fact, more than two dozen imams with large congregations across the country just endorsed Harris.
THE AMOUNT OF TIME THEY SPENT HOLDING HANDS WITH ANTI-ISRAEL MUSLIMS DWARFS THE AMOUNT OF TIME SHE SPENT COMFORTING THE VICTIMS OF THE HURRICANE!
Inquiring minds want to know what was said at the Flint meeting. Maybe we got a hint this weekend.
During a “60 Minutes” interview Sunday, Harris was asked if we had a close ally in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Harris dodged, saying, “The better question is, do we have an important alliance between the American people and the Israeli people? And the answer to that question is yes.” In other words, a Harris/Walz administration would not treat Netanyahu as an ally.
That kind of rhetoric may fool some Americans and some Jewish voters, but it won’t fool the Israeli people.
A recent poll asked citizens of Israel IF THEY COULD VOTE in our November election who would they support. Israelis choose Donald Trump 54% to 24% for Harris. The same poll also asked which candidate was better for Israel’s security. Again, Israelis chose Trump, this time by an even wider margin of 58% to 20%.
Helene Fallout Continues
Hurricane Helene crashed into the Florida coast on the night of September 26th. Over the next two days, it moved north, dumping massive amounts of water across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
On October 2nd, six days later, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas declared, “We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season and what is imminent.”
At the end of August, federal government weather experts said this would be a horrendous hurricane season. They predicted 17 to 25 total named storms, 8 to 13 hurricanes, and 4 to 7 major hurricanes. So far, only two major hurricanes have hit the United States this hurricane season.
Where did FEMA’s money go?
Everyone knows what happened. Every agency in the Department of Homeland Security has been spending money to get illegal aliens across the border, flown all over the country, put up in hotels, and fed.
But over the last few days, the Biden/Harris White House and the media are all claiming that Donald Trump is lying about FEMA funds being spent on illegal aliens. THEY ARE THE LIARS, not Donald Trump.
While addressing the border crisis way back in September 2022, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said:
“FEMA Regional Administrators have been meeting with city officials on site to coordinate available federal support from FEMA and other federal agencies. Funding is also available through FEMA’s Emergency Food and Shelter program to eligible local governments and not-for-profit organizations upon request to support humanitarian relief for migrants.”
During an appearance on “Meet The Press” Sunday, host Kristen Welker challenged Sen. Tom Cotton, asking, “Do you think this is a time to put falsehoods aside like the idea that FEMA funds are being redirected to migrants, which is just not true?” Sen. Cotton replied:
“Well, it is true that FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security have been spending billions of dollars on migrants… When they need hundreds of billions of dollars to pay off student loans for graduate students and gender studies programs, they somehow find it.”
Shame on the American media and shame on these bureaucrats for making it all worse by treating us and the people suffering from Helene like we’re idiots!
By the way, Vice President Harris announced this weekend that we were giving another $157 million to Lebanon for “food, shelter, and water.”
Wait a minute — they already made that announcement. Why were they announcing it again? Total politics. They wanted to calm down anti-Israel Muslim voters.
That brings our total commitment to Lebanon just this year to $385 million. So far, only $45 million has been allocated to Americans impacted by Hurricane Helene.
Meanwhile, USAID Administrator Samantha Power is bragging about keeping the lights on in Ukraine, even as more than 250,000 people in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina still don’t have power.
Communist China Attacks Again
Hackers in communist China are a growing threat to America’s national security. In recent weeks, the FBI has announced that it disrupted a massive cyberattack involving Chinese infiltration of more than 200,000 internet-connected devices, including routers and cameras. And we know that the communist Chinese are regularly launching cyberattacks against U.S. government agencies. (Here and here.)
Over the weekend, news broke of a “potentially catastrophic” cyberattack. Somehow, communist Chinese hackers managed to infiltrate major American telecommunications companies and their network infrastructure used in wire-tapping operations by the U.S. government. The full extent of the damage is not yet known.
Before the month is over, I won’t be surprised if hackers in China release information picked up by FBI and CIA spying on officials in the Trump campaign.
