Like all astronauts, the four-member crew of the Artemis II mission are members of the scientific community. They put their lives in the hands of thousands of people trained in math, physics and science. It’s an extraordinary endeavor of human ingenuity to put people into space.
 
Artemis II Pilot Victor Glover is a devout Christian. During the mission, he used every opportunity he had to share the Gospel without shame or embarrassment. Of course, with the current administration in office today, nobody at NASA would have dared said, “Stop it, Victor, you can’t say that.”
 
Every astronaut who goes into space is deeply impacted by what they see in space from a perspective that very few human beings will ever experience. On board a tiny capsule, hundreds of thousands of miles from Earth, they look into the blackness of space stretching beyond human imagination to see this little orb of life, Earth, floating in the midst of it all. It is a profoundly spiritual experience.
 
Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman was deeply moved by what he experienced during his record-breaking journey around the Moon. At a press conference last week, Wiseman told reporters that one of the first things he did after he returned to Earth and was taken to a Navy rescue ship was to ask to speak to the ship’s chaplain. Wiseman explained:
 
“I’m not really a religious person, but there was just no other avenue for me to explain anything… So, I asked for the chaplain on the Navy ship to just come visit us for a minute. And when that man walked in, I’d never met him before in my life. But I saw the cross on his collar and I just broke down in tears.”
 
I don’t believe any faithful Christian has ever been launched into space and came back as an atheist. Quite the opposite. On this particular trip around the Moon, Commander Wiseman saw what his colleague saw, was overwhelmed by it, and knew he needed to process it in the context of faith and God.
 
The more we learn, the more science shouts back at us, “How is this even possible? How could all this be the result of a cosmic accident?” The mysteries of the universe and the complexities of creation all point to our Creator.
 
 
 
The Pope & The President
 
Democrats and their secular Marxist allies have had a field day with the verbal skirmishes between Pope Leo and President Trump. It’s obvious that the left-wing media are stoking the confrontation. It’s all part of the coordinated effort by the Left to take back the House and the Senate by peeling off parts of the president’s base.
 
But the pope’s Palm Sunday comments that “Jesus does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war but rejects them” appeared to be rejecting the long-standing Christian doctrine of “just war.” Christianity has never been defined as a pacifist faith. Christ tells the disciples not to use violence to protect Him because His sacrifice on the cross was the most fundamental element of God’s plan of salvation.
 
The Apostle Paul describes clearly the responsibility of government to wield the “sword” to restrain evil and protect the innocent. If the message of Christianity is that under no circumstances can Christians use force or wage war, then no Christian can serve in the military of any nation. And if a country becomes a majority Christian nation, it will quickly lose its freedom to the world’s tyrants.
 
Imagine you see an elderly woman, a disabled person or a child being threatened by a criminal. What would Christ require of you? Are you supposed to tell the rapist or thief, “Jesus loves you” while he commits his crime? Or would Christ have us do our best to protect the victim? This is so fundamental, it’s hard to believe we’re having to debate it.
 
During his African tour, Pope Leo lamented that “the world is being ravaged by a handful of tyrants.” Many on the Left claimed the pope was talking about President Trump. He wasn’t.
 
Pope Leo just clarified that his comments were written weeks ago and had nothing to do with President Trump. The Holy Father added that his remarks have been misconstrued. He said the media narrative “has not been accurate in all of its aspects,” and he is not trying to “debate” the president. 
 
Vice President J.D. Vance, the most prominent Catholic in the Trump administration, said he was grateful to Pope Leo for clarifying his remarks and acknowledged that there will be disagreements from time to time.

Soros & Spain
 
Alex Soros, son of George Soros, stepped out of his father’s shadow this weekend to lead the inaugural Global Progressive Mobilization Summit in Barcelona, Spain. That the summit was held in Spain was no coincidence.
 
Spain’s socialist prime minister has led the resistance inside NATO to President Trump and the U.S.-Israeli military conflict against Iran. His left-wing government is also granting amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens in order to maintain its grip on power by importing new voters to defeat conservatives at the ballot box. Sound familiar?
 
Several socialist American politicians addressed the event via video, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) and Marxist/Muslim New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
 
Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz spoke at the socialist gathering in person. Both attacked President Trump and undermined our country while on foreign soil.
 
Murphy said America was in the middle of a “totalitarian takeover” and that Donald Trump “is out to end our democracy.” Walz smeared the president as a “feeble-minded, trigger-happy fascist.”
 
The ceasefire deal with Iran ends Wednesday. President Trump is demanding the Iranians to stop their nuclear program and get serious about a peace deal. But the Iranian regime saw prominent Democrats in Spain blasting President Trump for confronting Iran.
 
As a reminder, the radical Shiite regime believes they are doing the work of their “messiah” by waging war against the United States and Israel. When they hear Democrats like Murphy and Walz, they believe that the American “empire” is deeply divided and there is no need to negotiate with President Trump. The Democrats are prolonging the war and undermining our men and women in uniform.
 
 
 
Obama & Mamdani
 
Former President Barack Obama met New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani for the first time this weekend. They went to a daycare center in the Bronx and sang “The Wheels on the Bus” to the children.
 
It was so cute—and also revealing. It shows who won the civil war in the Democrat Party—the socialists won. Barack Obama went to New York City to pay homage to the party’s rising star, socialist antisemite Zohran Mamdani. The socialist platform they want won’t make the wheels go “round and round.” It will make the wheels come flying off as the bus goes over the cliff!
 
Politicians love photo-ops with children. But I know from personal experience that they can also be a trap.
 
On one of my school visits during my presidential campaign, one little 8-year-old girl asked me why I was against two men who loved each other being able to get married. Then, she immediately looked at her teachers for approval.
 
The little girl had obviously been “prepped” ahead of time for my visit. I responded to her question by saying how surprised I was that same-sex marriage was the first thing on her 8-year-old mind.
 
Barack Obama and Zohran Mamdani didn’t have to worry about such an “ambush.” There was no chance any child in that room would have asked or said anything that would have put them on the spot.
 
If a child had been prepped in advance, a little girl might have asked, “Mr. President / Mr. Mayor, why did you tell Mommy to abort children like me?”
 
 
 
DiGenova vs. Brennan
 
Former federal prosecutor and Trump attorney Joseph DiGenova has been appointed by the Justice Department to lead the investigation into the “grand conspiracy” by Obama CIA Director John Brennan and others to manufacture the 2016 Russia collusion hoax.
 
That Deep State scheme to smear Donald Trump as a Russian agent deeply divided the country, seriously undermined his first administration and badly damaged the reputation of the FBI and America’s intelligence community. John Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey, Peter Strzok and anyone else involved must be held accountable.
 
In other news, the Trump Justice Department is ordering Michigan election officials to turn over hundreds of thousands of 2020 ballots from Detroit and related election records. Michigan Democrats are refusing to comply.
 
The administration is not trying to “reopen” the 2020 election. They are looking for evidence of potential fraud to know what steps, if any, need to be taken in Detroit to secure the upcoming 2026 elections.
