Amidst all the drama in a Delaware courtroom last week, there was a revealing moment when Hunter Biden admitted that he was paid a significant amount of money from a Chinese company.

This is important because Joe Biden and his defenders have adamantly denied that Hunter or anyone in the Biden family got money from communist China.

In fact, there was a very dramatic moment during the 2020 presidential debate when Joe Biden angrily denounced the idea that Hunter made money in communist China.

Well, that was a lie and Hunter just admitted it in court.

Remember, Hunter’s infamous laptop was the source of that information, but we weren’t allowed to talk about that.

Immediately after denouncing Trump for truthfully saying that Hunter made money in communist China, Joe Biden also used the fake letter from Deep State operatives that his campaign orchestrated to falsely label the laptop as “Russian disinformation.”

So, let’s recap: Elements of our own government — not Russia’s — knew the laptop was real and they allowed Biden to get away with lying in order to influence the outcome of the election. And it wasn’t until last week, when Hunter’s corrupt, sweetheart plea deal blew up, that the Bidens were forced to admit the truth.

Now, will any Democrats, Deep State operatives who signed that fake letter, or their media allies also admit the truth — that Joe Biden lied to the American people and that the 2020 election was manipulated by government censorship?

By the way, more ludicrous charges were filed Thursday against Trump by Biden’s special hitman, I mean special prosecutor, in a blatant attempt to get Hunter Biden off the front pages. More charges may be coming soon from another left-wing prosecutor in Georgia.

Every time such charges are filed it tells you what the left’s intent is and why it will be so hard to bring the country together: They want Trump to die in prison. Repeat that line again: They want Trump to die in prison. And if the left gets away with prosecuting Trump, they will persecute all of us. (See next item.)

Standing Firm

The extremism of the radical left is on full display in southern California. A local school board in Chino, California, is defying state mandates to lie to parents about children going through so-called “gender transitions.”

After a heated debate, the school board voted 4-to-1 in favor of a new policy that protects children and parental rights by ensuring that parents are informed if their child attempts to change their gender.

This is not a controversial issue. Polling shows that 68% of Californians want parents to be informed if their child “changes genders” at school. (Keep in mind that Republicans struggle to get 40% of the vote in California, so a lot of Democrats are in favor of this commonsense policy!)

But LGBTQ extremists have inundated Sonja Shaw, the president of Chino’s school board, with vile threats against her life, the lives of her children and her pets. They have even threatened to dismember her!

Again, my friends, we’re a long way from “coming together.” The most we can hope for is the 68% who agree with us on this issue. Yet when Shaw says something totally normal and supported by two-thirds of the people, she’s forced to live in fear of violence from the insane left.

There are two rational conclusions one can draw from Shaw’s experience — one is right and the other is wrong.

I can see how some would conclude that they don’t want to get involved, that they don’t want to suffer the insults, smears and threats of the left. But surrendering to the left’s intimidation is the wrong response.

Here’s the right response. Even though Shaw admits that the threats deeply disturbed her, she realized that people threatening her were the same people “who are after our children” and driving these insane policies.

That’s when she understood that she had to stand firm and fight back because so much is at stake. (See next item.)

Our Fundamentally Transformed Country

Imagine that you live in a country where the government censored the news and where national security and intelligence agencies worked to sabotage opposition candidates.

Imagine that you lived in a country where religious activists were prosecuted by the government, and where churches were under government surveillance.

Imagine that you lived in a country where the leader believed he could do whatever he wanted — just by the stroke of his pen — without any legal authorization.

What I have just described may sound like the old Soviet Union, communist China, or Marxist Venezuela. But I’m not referring to those totalitarian regimes, and we don’t have to imagine anything.

What I just described is the country we live in today — Joe Biden’s neo-Marxist, “fundamentally transformed” America. Read more in my latest column at The Stand.

2024 Update

The latest Morning Consult national poll of more than 3,500 Republican primary voters continues to show former President Donald Trump with a commanding lead — 59% to 16% for his nearest competitor, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. No other candidate received double digit support.

Of course, the primary contest isn’t a national race, but a multitude of state-by-state contests. So, it’s always important to look at polling in individual states, especially the early voting states where campaigns either gain momentum or end.

• In Iowa, Trump leads DeSantis 50% to 17%. No other candidate received double digit support.
  
• In New Hampshire, Trump leads DeSantis 42% to 18%. No other candidate received double digit support.
  
• In South Carolina, Trump leads DeSantis 43% to 17%, with former Gov. Nikki Haley at 13%.

Good News

• Kudos to CWF-Endorsed Congresswoman Harriet Hageman (R-WY) for pointing out the truth that there is no such thing as a “successful sex change surgery,” and that all such surgeries have a 100% failure rate.
• The appropriately named town of Moscow, Idaho, was forced to pay $300,000 in damages for violating the constitutional rights of Christians during the pandemic.
• The Senate overwhelmingly approved an amendment to prevent foreign adversaries, like communist China, from buying U.S. farmland.
• Seventy “gender clinics” have shut down due to new state laws protecting children from so-called “gender affirming care” and mutilating transgender surgeries.
• Twenty-two state attorneys general are defending state laws against radical transgender procedures. In the process, they are demanding that a leading transgender advocacy group reveal what, if any, medical justification it has to support subjecting children to such extreme and experimental interventions.
• Radical left-wing teachers’ unions in Florida are facing serious financial shortfalls after the state approved paycheck protection legislation.
• Conservative lawmakers in four states are pushing their library associations to follow Montana’s lead and disaffiliate from the American Library Association after the organization elected an avowed “Marxist lesbian” as its new president.
