Finally, a Democrat (Somewhat) Takes Responsibility
At least Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) had the moral courage to take partial responsibility for her voting record, unlike her fellow Democrats who run for the hills at mere mention of “Obama” or “ObamaCare.” During a debate for the U.S. Senate spot for New Hampshire, her Republican challenger, Scott Brown accused her of being “the deciding vote” for the “Affordable” Care Act. Shaheen interrupted Brown, “There were 60 of us. Everybody was the deciding vote.” To which, Brown replied, “Every Democrat voted, and yes, every Democrat was the deciding vote for a terrible bill that’s crushing businesses.”
