Sanctity of Life Sunday
Extending compassion and advocacy for pre-birth babies.
Though we won’t recognize the bitter anniversary of Roe v. Wade until next Sunday, Jan. 22, many churches mark the third Sunday in January as Sanctity of Life Sunday. Tragically, the right to “life” as understood throughout history and affirmed in our Declaration of Independence has been denied to nearly 60 million pre-birth babies sacrificed on the altar of “choice” since 1973. Make today a day to extend compassion to those who’ve been scarred by this choice, and to advocate for those who do not yet have a voice.
