The current events of our country are starting to feel like a dramatic Mexican soap opera. From an assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump to Joe Biden dropping out of the presidential race and endorsing Kamala Harris, we have been left on the edge of our seats wondering what’s next.

Although many of us have been glued to the current news cycle, there are many more who have not and don’t know the full story to any of the latest headlines they see on social media. Nor do they have the time to get the full story.

The attempted assassination of Trump is something everyone should care about because it demonstrates the effects that propaganda can have on a nation. For the last eight years, the mainstream media, social media influencers, and celebrities have successfully inserted hatred of Trump into people’s minds. Ergo, it should come as no surprise that there was an assassination attempt against him. Had the shooter been successful, our country would be experiencing truly dark times right now.

Just after the assassination attempt, rumors of Biden dropping out of the race began to spread. Some seemed certain that Biden would drop out due to his poor debate performance even after he assured the country he would not.

Last weekend, we witnessed what seemed like a coup against Biden. On Sunday, we saw Biden announce that he has dropped out of the presidential race. In his announcement via X, Biden stated:

It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.

He then goes on to thank Kamala Harris and in a later tweet gives his full endorsement of her to run for president of the United States. Although many anticipated these events would come true, the way in which Biden’s decision was delivered raised many questions to which we still don’t have answers.

The nation is wondering why such an announcement was made on X. There are also questions about the statement itself. Why doesn’t it look official, and why is Biden’s signature underlined?

After Biden’s announcement, Harris raised tens of millions overnight and quickly received the support of enough delegates to become the official presidential nominee of the Democrat Party.

This entire series of events should make the average American shudder. We seem to be living in a perpetual state of unprecedented events, and it’s exhausting. But as exhausted as we may be, it is more important than ever to pay attention.

Our country witnessed an entire party of voters become disenfranchised. The average Democrat voter was not given the opportunity to vote for a candidate they felt would represent them. Instead, that choice was made for them by leftist elites. The party that claims conservatives are a “threat to democracy” became the actual threat to democracy. Our enemies know our country is in a weak state, and that is never a good thing.

Now more than ever, it is important to pay attention to what is happening to our country. Our future generations are depending on us.
