“The sentencing of Antifa members is a slap in the face to all of those Democrats who claimed Antifa ‘doesn’t exist.’”

Re: The Real Iran Deal

“As Alexander noted, any ‘peace deal’ with Iran was going to include shots fired at intervals moving forward. These are not civilized people; they are sixth-century barbarians. Thinking they would adhere to any agreement in a civilized manner is lunacy.” —California

“The nightly media spin on Iran is disgraceful. These are dangerous people, and treating the situation as another ad-revenue generator is inexcusable and deadly.” —Virginia

Re: Even More Taxes Won’t Save Social Security

“There are ways to save Social Security. One is to extend the age requirement. Life expectancy in 1940 was somewhere between 63 and 65. Now it is somewhere between 79 and 80. But the age at which you become eligible has not kept up with life expectancy. Bumping it even to 70-72 would make a huge difference. SSDI, SSI, and Survivor Benefits need to be trimmed or financed via a different pool of taxes. I’m not an economics expert, but I suspect the COLA mechanism (using CPI-W) could also be tweaked to more closely replicate felt inflation. Ultimately, these are difficult choices, and any solutions are going to be politically fraught with peril. This our elected officials will do: avoid a tough vote.” —New York

“The problem with Social Security is that it is a Ponzi scheme, much like multi-level marketing, where the newer contributors benefit the earlier ones. The moral: Don’t be the last. Where Social Security really has a problem is that to finance LBJ’s Great Society program simultaneously with the Vietnam War, Congress, in its ‘infinite wisdom,’ appropriated Social Security’s money into its general fund so it could ‘borrow’ from it, giving worthless IOUs to replace the funds lawmakers plundered.” —California

Re: Antifa Violence Gets the Justice It Deserves

“The sentencing of Antifa members is a slap in the face to all of those Democrats who claimed Antifa ‘doesn’t exist.’ Congressman Jerry Nadler claimed it was just an idea. Antifa is real and a danger to our country. More of them need to be rounded up and charged for violence during the ‘Summer of Love.’” —New Jersey

“The United States, with a ‘new sheriff’ in town, is sending Antifa the message that this nation and her people will not tolerate their violent methods to overthrow our constitutional government.” —North Carolina

Re: Dems Are America Haters

“As usual, Gallatin accurately identifies the problem of America-hating leftists, who have loathed America ever since the Baby Boomers frantically ran away from the fight against communism when the shooting was largely confined to Southeast Asia. They were enabled by a then-closeted socialist education establishment that happily ceded control of the universities to the cowards. Domestic America-hate went into high gear in the late 1960s. The lurch from The Beach Boys to The Beatles involved more than just music.” —Florida

“Too bad these unpatriotic Democrats don’t have the courage of their convictions and move to another country.” —Colorado

Re: Turnstile Tucker Seeks to Poison Malleable Minds

“Good-bye, Tucker. It’s been nice following you for the last several years, but you seem to have taken a lot of stupid pills lately. Perhaps you need to clean up your diet.” —South Carolina

“I used to like his program. Not so much anymore. One doesn’t have to like everything a president says or does but, to desert your party is cowardice.” —California

Re: ‘In’ Means ‘In,’ and ‘Temporary’ Means ‘Temporary’

“Superfluous rulings aside, not ending birthright citizenship will add millions of citizens via illegal immigrants in the next 25 years. Consider that the immigration spigot will be WFO during the next Democrat administration, adding millions to that. This is checkmate. We are doomed.” —Oklahoma

Re: Herding the GOP Cats

“The No. 1 priority for the Senate should be to pass the SAVE Act. The people have spoken, and the Senate is ignoring them. First, make the senators vote on it so we can all see the names of those who oppose it. If necessary, nix the filibuster to get it passed. We can be sure that Democrats will get rid of the filibuster if they take the Senate in November. Then we can kiss our country goodbye as the Left moves forward with its agenda.” —South Carolina

Re: New York Dems Want Change — but They May Not Like Where It’s Headed

“When there is dissatisfaction within the parties, primaries tend to move them toward their extremes; this is occurring on both sides. But while the 2028 Democrat presidential nominee may turn out to be an extreme leftist, the Republican nominee can be more conservative than Donald Trump (who is actually fairly centrist on many points) and yet appear the more moderate candidate simply by being a bit less abrasive than what the electorate has become accustomed to. This bodes well for our presidential hopes.” —Georgia

Re: Antisemitic Coffee Shop Brews Up Intraparty Hate

“Wow. As a former business owner, I find this crazy. I had many customers whom I disagreed with politically (and possibly for other reasons), but I treated them as a very important part of my business. I had one employee who was really good at his job but was a staunch Obama supporter in 2008. I had to bite my tongue a few times, but everything went fine. Had I not been like this, I would have been sued or failed. My business went on to become very successful. I also believe I may have had some positive influence on some of my customers that I disagreed with.” —Texas

Re: Profiles of Valor: MAJ Nicholas Dockery (USA)

“A genuine hero! I was overwhelmed that one man could achieve so much in one lifetime — and still going! God bless him!” —Georgia
