What It Means to Us Today

In lieu of our normal Humor broadcast, today we take a solemn moment to mark the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, when 2,977 innocents, mostly American citizens, were murdered by Islamic fascists. In keeping with the presidential proclamation designating Sept. 11 of each year as Patriot Day, all flags should be flown at half-staff in memory of those who lost their lives that day.

We invite you to join us as we offer our prayers for the families of those lost and for our Armed Forces now serving on the front lines of the Long War against Jihadistan. And let us never forget why we fight the eternal battle against evil.

Update: Noticeably absent from The New York Times’ 20/20 hindsight, blame-Bush analysis on 9/11 is any mention of the name “Clinton.” In fact, the terrorists who led the 9/11 attack settled into American suburbs under Clinton’s watch, while the Clintonistas were too busy rejecting FBI reports because of “ethnic sensitivity.” One such report was from an agent who wanted to open a case file on a group of Islamists who requested flight training – more specifically learning to take off in a large jet … but not land. Her request was denied. Oh, did we mention that our forces had Osama bin Laden, literally, dead in their sights twice in 1998 and 1999, but CLINTON REFUSED to green light the specops, and according to the CIA case officer who was MOST directly involved with the hunt, he confirms Clinton had more than EIGHT opportunities to kill bin Laden. See here.
