Obama Plays Bain Gain
Now that Romney’s out of the picture, Obama gets friendly with Bain & Company.
How ‘bout this for Liberal hypocrisy.
“President Barack Obama’s new top economic deputy is a former management consultant who worked for Gov. Mitt Romney’s Bain & Company investment firm,” reports The Daily Caller.
Jeff Zients, who has previously served as acting director of the Office of Management and Budget, has been awarded head of Obama’s National Economic Council. He worked under Bain between 1988-1990.
Remember that time when Obama accused Mitt Romney of killing a woman during the aspiring president’s reign at Bain? The entire kerfuffle was a bunch of fabricated nonsense, but hey, it worked at delivering some real campaign drama. Romney is, after all, one of those supposedly selfish and evil 1 percenters entirely out of touch with us regular folks. (And Obama’s not?)
“I am certain that in Jeff’s hands we will continue to have strong leadership of our economic policy team,” Obama declared, “and his advice will be critical as we keep moving this country forward and building an economy where everyone who works hard can get ahead.”
There he goes, using that “forward” verbiage again. It’s amazing, huh? The man overseeing the death of the American economy hires a person affiliated with the very company he accused of destroying the Middle Class, but in reality created and saved countless more jobs than Obama can take credit for. If it weren’t for double standards…
