Best Excuse of the Day
Fact can be stranger than fiction!
Tuesday, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, who has been the subject of much behavioral controversy for months, admitted that he has tried crack cocaine. When asked by a reporter if he had ever used cocaine, Ford responded, “Have I tried crack? Maybe in one of my drunken stupors.” Seriously, he used a “drunken stupor” as an excuse for smoking crack! For the record, Ford’s approval ratings have increased recently – no so much because of his crack use or drunken stupors, but because he has kept his campaign promise to implement tax reduction policies. Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson, no stranger to substance abuse himself, offered a slogan for the next Ford campaign: “Get Toronto back on track – vote for the guy who smokes crack.”
