Still Exploiting Newtown
Gun control push renewed.
Barack Obama’s perpetual campaign arm, Organizing for Action, wants to use the Dec. 14 anniversary of the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut, to remind people to push Congress for gun control legislation. In an email, OFA said that “communities are coming together to reflect and stand as one with the families of Newtown.” They invited people to my.barackobama.com to set up a community event to exploit that terrible crime for political ends. “OFA will give you the resources you need to ensure your event is a powerful reminder of what we lost a year ago, and a reminder that we as a nation need to do more to prevent gun violence and keep our communities safe.” And this is just a reminder that nothing proposed by Obama or his NeoCom cadres would have prevented a single death that day.
