Oh how times have changed.
Democrats’ prospects for retaining control of the Senate are less than good. For example, Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC) now trails all of her Republican challengers in the polls despite having a comfortable lead in those same polls last fall. That was before the ObamaCare rollout, however. The problems are obvious to Hagan. To wit, while she agreed to meet the president privately at the White House this week, she declined to appear with him on the stump in her own state, where he traveled to tout his “jobs” plan. Hagan better hope his plan works because she may be looking for a job come November.
