California Class Warfare
“Some people are just too rich.”
Daraka Larimore Hall, the secretary of the California Democratic Party, said at the party’s annual convention in LA that she can pinpoint the problem with income inequality. “I’m going to say something, and it’s probably going to get me in trouble, but there are some people who are just too rich,” Larimore Hall said. “If we don’t solve the problem of income inequality we will lose our souls and we will lose our republic.” Nancy Pelosi of California is worth $24.45 million – is she “too rich”? She didn’t say so in her own speech at the convention. Or what about Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who’s worth nearly $42 million? If neither of those women meets the criteria, what about billionaire donor Tom Steyer, who also spoke at the conference? Maybe if half the nation made minimum wage and the other half received unemployment benefits that would just about solve the problem.
