WV Dems Pass Abortion Limits
Yes, even Democrats.
West Virginia became the first state with a Democrat-controlled legislature to pass a bill banning abortions after 20 weeks, the point at which babies can be shown to feel pain. The bill passed with overwhelming majorities – 85-15 in the House and 25-9 in the Senate. Democrat Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, who says he’s pro-life, said he worries the bill could be “unconstitutional,” but 10 other states already have similar bans and the U.S. is one of only seven developed nations that allows abortion after 20 weeks. When abortion on demand at any stage of pregnancy is a Democrat sacrament, it’s really an achievement for such a ban to pass a Democrat-controlled legislature.
