Attacking Faith in Wisconsin
Going after Scott Walker.
The Left couldn’t bring down Scott Walker when he ran for election as governor of Wisconsin, nor could they unseat him in a recall election after he took on the state’s public employee unions. So now they’re angry about – gasp! – a Bible verse he posted on social media. Walker tweeted and posted on Facebook “Philippians 4:13,” without actually quoting the verse, which says, “I can do all things through him [Christ] who strengthens me.” It’s a popular verse, but the Freedom From Religion Foundation objected, saying it was “improper” for a politician to promote his religious views using “the machinery of the state.” If he doesn’t remove the verse, they might sue. Sounds a bit like the obnoxious kerfuffle at the Air Force Academy.
