Unsportsmanlike Conduct
Football players with health benefits.
On Friday, we reported that, thanks to a ruling by the National Labor Relations Board, Northwestern football players can now unionize as employees of the university. But wait – the news gets even better. The university conceded and will consider its football players employees. And since there are more than 50 young men on the football team, it qualifies as a “large employer” and is thus subject to all of ObamaCare’s mandates. So now, not only can these hulking athletes vote to become union strong but they will have maternity coverage. You know, just in case.
