Sounds pretty, but what does it mean?
In an online video, Hillary Clinton said America is ready to eradicate the “cancer of inequality” so we should stop talking and get to work. “I think people will see that we are strong and well-equipped to restore prosperity here at home,” she said, “to deal with the cancer of inequality, to give people in our country the ladders of opportunity that have always been a hallmark of the United States and the American Dream, but they will recognize that doesn’t happen by accident or wishing for it or engaging in ideological and rhetorical battles.” But we need the ideological discussions to figure out what inequality actually means. Clinton herself was vague on this point because, like Politico pointed out, she’s trying to woo “progressives” to her 2016 platform. They might not like her answer. More…
