Warren's Donors Won't Support White House Run

Ask Elizabeth Warren’s donors if the senator should make a run for the White House, and they say no. There are several reasons. First, if a primary race came down between Hillary and Warren, at least some of Warren’s donors would switch support to Hillary. Second, Obama had more experience in 2008 than Warren has now, according to the donors (and we all know how his presidency has turned out). And thirdly, the race could split the Democrat Party. The donors, interviewed by the Daily Beast, came from New York City and even Warren’s hometown in Massachusetts. Some of the donors were long-time Warren supporters, but nearly all opposed a Warren presidency. The Democrat ticket for 2016 is Hillary’s to refuse, which makes the presidential race dull. More…
