Matt Gaetz’s announcement wasn’t the only surprising news. Capitol Hill was stunned yesterday when the FBI Director Wray and Secretary of Homeland Security Mayorkas both refused to attend a scheduled hearing with the Senate Homeland Security Committee and testify publicly about threats to the country.
 
Even Democrat Senator Gary Peters, chairman of the committee, blasted Wray and Mayorkas for “flouting” the Senate’s oversight responsibilities. He charged that their evasion “will deal a serious blow to trust in our government.”
 
Senator Rand Paul, the ranking Republican on the committee, condemned the refusal by Wray and Mayorkas to testify as “unacceptable” and demanded that they be held accountable.
 
What threat to our homeland is so serious that Wray and Mayorkas refused to talk about it?
 
 
 
A Travesty of Justice

The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued formal arrest warrants yesterday for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged Israeli “crimes against humanity” and “war crimes” committed in Gaza.
 
Israel is fighting an existential war against Islamic supremacists who have promised a second Holocaust and vowed to destroy the state of Israel. And the ICC wants to put Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant on trial!
 
This is what happens when nations surrender their sovereignty to globalist world government. The ICC is a creation of the United Nations but functions independently of the U.N. The United States and Israel wisely opposed the creation of the ICC.
 
Donald Trump imposed sanctions on ICC officials when they tried to go after U.S. troops who fought in Afghanistan. The Biden/Harris administration repealed those sanctions.
 
Yesterday’s insane action ensures that the Trump/Vance administration will terminate any and all support for the ICC.
 
If there was any doubt about how Donald Trump will interact with rogue international agencies, this seals the deal. They are dead to us from now on.
 
Trump sent another strong signal with his nomination of Rep. Elise Stefanik to be our ambassador to the United Nations. During an address earlier this week at the Endowment for Middle East Truth’s annual dinner, Stefanik made her position clear, saying:
 
“We know that the UN is a den of antisemitism. Ever since and even before the barbaric terrorist attacks [from] Hamas on Oct. 7, the UN has continuously betrayed Israel and betrayed America, acting as an apologist for Iran and their terrorist proxies…
 
"I will stand up for President Trump’s America First, peace through strength policies and bring moral truth and crystal-clear moral clarity at the United Nations on Day One.”
 
 
 
Biden Celebrates Death
 
There was a big event at the White House Wednesday. Joe Biden awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor America has, to Nazi war criminal Josef Mengele, who was responsible for the deaths of thousands upon thousands of children.
 
Well, no, he didn’t do that.
 
We don’t award our highest civilian honor to Nazi mass murderers. But Joe Biden did give the Medal of Freedom to Cecile Richards, who aggressively ran Planned Parenthood for 12 years.
 
Under her leadership, the death-loving organization enthusiastically pushed abortion on demand all nine months of the pregnancy in every way it could. In those years, a modest estimate is that 1.5 million little humans were killed every year.
 
Richards has the blood of 18 million innocent babies on her hands. That’s who Joe Biden and Kamala Harris gave our nation’s highest honor to. Their celebration of death is disgusting. And, of course, the media are virtually silent.
 
 
 
Rubin’s Rubbish
 
Meanwhile, of all the screeching, mentally unbalanced left-wing fanatics, perhaps none is more unhinged than Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin.
 
During the period of our endless no-win wars, Rubin acted like she was part of the broader conservative coalition. I was introduced to her back then by — you guessed it — Bill Kristol.
 
But as soon as Donald Trump emerged and declared that we’re done with nation-building and would stop borrowing money from communist China to fund wars all over the world, Rubin showed her true colors.
 
Now, while other Democrats are recognizing that screaming “Nazi!” and “Fascist!” doesn’t work, Rubin is doubling down. On her podcast this week, Rubin offered this advice to her leftist comrades:
 
“You can’t talk broad themes. You have to boil it down to nuts and bolts, and you have to be pithy. What do I mean by pithy? How about this: ‘Republicans want to kill your kids.’ It’s actually true.”
 
This is coming from a member of the party that supports abortion on demand and the killing of one million preborn kids a year.
 
This from a woman who supports the left’s open border policies that are killing American kids with deadly drugs. And who knows how many migrant kids are killed during the dangerous journey through areas controlled by the drug cartels.
 
This from a woman whose party supports cutting off healthy body parts of kids in the name of the sick transgender ideology.
 
She wouldn’t know how to save a kid who was standing right next to her! And, of course, she wants your kids to go fight and get killed in her wars.
 
If Jeff Bezos is serious about restoring the Washington Post’s credibility, getting Jennifer Rubin’s rubbish out of his paper would be a good step in the right direction.
 
 
 
A Future Lost
 
I neglected yesterday to mention the most important thing I could have and should have said about Laken Riley. She loved Jesus with every fiber in her body. She came from a Christian family that now has a hole in their hearts.
 
Laken Riley wrote a letter to her husband. But she wasn’t married yet. She wrote a letter to her future husband. Here’s a brief excerpt:
 
“To my future husband, I want you to know that I’m thinking about you…
 
"I pray that you know it is with my full faith and trust in God that I know this relationship has been handcrafted by Him. I pray that we continue to glorify the Lord … and raise our family, our future family, to be God-fearing Christians as well… I thank Him for you before I even know you and can’t wait to love you in the best way I know how for the rest of our lives.”
 
That’s who America lost in that Georgia park at the hands of a thug. The killer’s unindicted co-conspirators are Biden, Harris, Mayorkas, and everyone else in this administration who encouraged the invasion of our country.
 
Wednesday in Massachusetts, federal immigration enforcement officials arrested three illegal aliens on various charges of rape, sexual assault, and abuse against children. But left-wing Gov. Maura Healey is refusing to cooperate with Donald Trump in getting illegal aliens out of the country.
 
It reminded me of what she said back in March. After a “migrant” raped a disabled 15 year-old girl, Healy said, “Unfortunately, we have security and systems in place, we have vetting in place. It is unfortunate that from time to time things will happen.”
 
A disabled teenage girl is raped by someone who shouldn’t be in the country, and a so-called “progressive” politician, who wins elections by massive margins, just shrugs it off as “things will happen.”
