Wondering why insurance premiums are rising so much? You can largely thank having to subsidize other people’s life choices – like gender reassignment. The Daily Beast reports that ObamaCare “makes it possible for more transgender people to purchase private plans. And in states that expanded their Medicaid programs, those with low incomes may get free coverage.” Keep in mind nothing comes for free. It’s you, the taxpayer, helping cover the cost, and the problem extends to other areas of “health” care such as the birth control mandate. A larger pool of consumers combined with government mandates, some of which have nothing to do with health care, explain why ObamaCare is the train wreck that it is. Unfortunately, such a formula cannot succeed, and the Left’s next stop is universal coverage. That is unless a Republican Congress hits the brakes and change this nation’s course. More…
