Joe Biden Slips Up Again, Refers to ‘Shylocks’

Let’s play “What If a Republican Said It?"Joe Biden spoke to the Legal Services Corporation and described the unfortunate experience of his son, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, after his deployment in Iraq: "People would come to him and talk about what was happening to them at home in terms of foreclosures, in terms of bad loans that were being,” Biden said. “I mean, these Shylocks who took advantage of these women and men while overseas…” According to Anti-Defamation League National Director Abraham Foxman, “Shylock represents the medieval stereotype about Jews and remains an offensive characterization to this day. The Vice President should have been more careful.” Indeed, Biden later called it a “poor choice of words.” Anyone doubt it would be the top story of every Leftmedia outlet if Dick Cheney said it?
