James O’Keefe Finds Voter Registration Group Broke Law
James O'Keefe, who made headlines a few weeks ago because he dressed up as Osama bin Laden and crossed the U.S./Mexico border has released another video. This time, he goes after leftist group Battleground Texas, whose goal is to make Texas a liberal state. “With 38 electoral votes at stake, a blue Texas would be a surefire road to the White House,” the group says on their website. In a heavily edited video, O'Keefe investigates the group and finds the group broke voter registration law. “Battleground Texas makes no bones about their objective: voter registration,” O'Keefe wrote. “That’s all well and good, but there are rules to follow. At this point, it is clear to us that this organization’s leadership is certainly aware of the rules and regulations they must follow under Texas law when registering voters. However, how closely are they actually following it?” Watch the video below, and wait to see if Texas officials deem this report credible enough to investigate Battleground Texas.
