Alison Lundergan Grimes, the Democrat candidate for Senate in Kentucky, desperately doesn’t want this election to be about Barack Obama, even though he recently declared that all of his policies “are on the ballot.” Asked if she voted for Obama, Grimes was evasive. “You know, this election, uh, isn’t about the president,” she said. Instead, she set up for 2016, saying she’s a “Clinton Democrat through and through.” Gee, that helps.
