Hillary Warns ISIL Won’t Stop Until They Hit the West
During a $225,000 speech in Las Vegas, Hillary Clinton offered an insight into the fight against ISIL: They won’t quit. “I think it’s totally understandable why people are tired, discouraged, unconvinced, but I think leaders – and not just political or public leaders, but private sector, academic and others in leadership positions – need to keep the conversation going with the American people,” she said. “Obviously, if we can stop terrorism from coming to our shores – and make no mistake about it, the form of jihadi extremism that we see with ISIS is not going to be satisfied carving out territory and governing it across the borders of Iraq and Syria. They want to bring the fight to Europe and to the United States.” She’s right. Maybe she should make a 3:00 a.m. phone call to the president.
