Obama: Where's the Leftmedia Obsession With Climate Change?
During a Q&A with Vox.com Executive Editor Matthew Yglesias, Barack Obama again belittled terrorism by suggesting the media gives too much attention to ISIL and not enough to shams like climate change. “What’s the famous saying about local newscast?” he asked. “If it bleeds, it leads, right? You show crime stories and you show fires ‘cause that’s what folks watch. It’s all about ratings.” He should know. The bleeding caused by a deranged shooter at Sandy Hook Elementary School barely stopped before Obama was standing on the coffins of innocent children and exploiting the survivors on national television in his bid to tighten gun control. But who’s counting? “Climate change,” Obama added, “is one that is happening at such a broad scale and such a complex system that it’s a hard story for the media to tell on a day-to-day basis.” Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee summed up Obama’s strange dialect perfectly: “I assure you that a beheading is much worse than a sunburn, and this president couldn’t watch a western from the '50s and know the difference between the good guys and the bad guys even if John Wayne was starring in the film.”
