Obama Has ‘An Air of Moral Superiority’
Former Obama adviser David Axelrod admitted what we all already knew: Barack Obama is a narcissist. Of course, Axelrod didn’t quite put it that way. He was praising Obama for his singular purpose of “getting things done.” Axelrod explained, “I think everybody’s strength is their weakness, his strength is that he believes that there are more important things than winning elections. He thinks that when you get elected, your role is to try and get big things done. … And sometimes there’s an air of moral superiority that creeps in because he feels like we have a responsibility to do big things.” The big things Obama wants done are commandeering one-sixth of the U.S. economy via ObamaCare, solidifying “too big to fail” through financial regulation and weakening the U.S. in the world by leading from behind. In our book, those things aren’t the least bit morally superior.
