Sharpton’s Daughter Learns the Shakedown
“Severely injured, bruised and wounded … internal and external injuries to the whole body, lower and upper limbs, the full extent of which are unknown, permanent pain and mental anguish” — those are the words in a suit used to describe the injuries sustained by Al Sharpton’s daughter. And because of a tumble on an uneven New York City street in October, Dominique Sharpton is suing NYC’s departments of Transportation and Environmental protection for a lucrative $5 million. By the suit’s description, Ms. Sharpton sounds like she splayed out on the pavement, was run over by a MTA bus and then a hipster on a rickshaw rounded out the injuries. But Dominique’s social media pages show her hiking, wearing high heels and when the New York Post tried to contact her for comment regarding the suit, she was unavailable for comment because she was vacationing in Bali. Meanwhile, $5 million just happens to be half-a-million more than the amount of money Al Sharpton owes in back taxes. More…
