A single, white, liberal female in a monkey mask throws an egg at Larry Elder, a black conservative running for governor of the state of California. I can’t make this stuff up! In this scenario, I can switch liberal for conservative and, just like magic, it’s a hate crime. A gorilla mask? Come on, people! What’s next? Blackface? If the tables were turned, you’d see this on every major media network.

“I’m not somebody who pulls out the race card the way Barack Obama does, the way Al Sharpton does, the way CNN does, the way Black Lives Matter does,” Elder told Fox News. “Maybe it was just an idiot. Maybe it was just a fool. Maybe it was just someone who doesn’t like Larry Elder. All I know is: if I were a liberal and somebody wearing a gorilla mask who was a white woman threw an egg at me, the left would be screaming about systemic racism.”

Elder further revealed that racist phrases were screamed at him. Where are the hate crime police on this one? Where is his public apology? Don’t hold your breath. Just like me, Elder is the wrong skin color with the wrong political affiliation. It’s no longer white vs. colored. Today, it’s liberal vs. conservative.

Malcolm X said: “The worst enemy that the Negro have is this white man that runs around here drooling at the mouth professing to love Negros and calling himself a liberal, and it is following these white liberals that has perpetuated problems that Negros have. If the Negro wasn’t taken, tricked or deceived by the white liberal, then Negros would get together and solve our own problems.”

I don’t subscribe to the teachings of Islam, but Malcolm X knew what to say:

“White liberals are those who have perfected the art of selling themselves to the black man as our ‘friend’ to get our sympathy, our allegiance and our minds. The white liberal attempts to use us politically against white conservatives, so that anything the black man does is never for his own good, never for his advancement, never for his own progress, he’s only a pawn in the hands of the white liberal.”

According to Elder: “One person said to the effect of, ‘Larry Elder doesn’t give a blank about black people; Larry Elder only cares about white people.’ I will tell you: 6.5% of the population of California is black, but according to a [Department of Housing and Urban Development] study, 40% of the homeless population is black. So if ‘Larry Elder doesn’t give a blank about black people,’ why is Larry Elder trying to solve the homeless problem which is disproportionately affecting black people?”
