Cut, Cap and Balance
I applaud the House for passing the “Cut, Cap and Balance” bill, which includes a Balanced Budget Amendment (BBA) to the U.S Constitution. In doing so you have demonstrated to the American people who sent you there to make the hard choices, defend the Constitution, and rein in our runaway government that you are serious about what you must do. Stand firm and do not sway from this task appointed to you. At the same time do not allow the Senate and Obama to redefine who you are and negate your sole purpose in Washington.
I urge you to take the fight to them. I urge you to let it be known that if the Senate and or Obama refuse to pass the “Cut, Cap and Balance” bill, which includes a Balanced Budget Amendment (BBA) to the U.S Constitution you will demand Obama be impeached for crimes against America and the American people. I am not a lawyer nor do I propose to know the law, but I do know there is enough question in everyone’s minds to make them ask for proof.
The proof is Obama is not a ‘Natural Born Citizen’ because only his mother was a legal citizen of the United States and his father was from Kenya. The proof is Obama policies are bankrupting America and has no reason to stop. The proof is Obama and the Justice Department redirected ‘Operation Fast and Furious’ to undermine the Second Amendment. The proof is all around us just take your pick or better yet make a list and run with it.
The flip side to all of this is I have never been interested in politics, until now. I could have cared less because I believed the system would take care of itself, auto correct if you will, and most citizens only need vote. I have found I am wrong on so many levels and so many others have decided the same. Look at all those who are now working within their party to make a difference in how our great country is to go forward. Better yet, look at the Tea Party, Oath Keepers, and Patriots Union just to name a few. Just a few years ago none of these organizations existed. They do now!
Storm clouds have blackened the horizon and are now gathering overhead. I can’t say what this means because I don’t know nor does anyone else, but I feel the tension building. It’s the same feeling I had on Feb. 21, 1991 before my unit jumped off to go behind enemy lines to hit the Republican Guard armor, a little excitement, a little dread, and a whole lot of adrenalin. The unknown is a terrible foe because of all the things you don’t and can’t know. Those are the gremlin’s lurking in the dark, fears of unemployment, lost homes, and hunger.
I sold my guns years ago shortly after joining the Army because it was so difficult to move them around from one military installation to another and impossible to take overseas. Keeping them in storage wasn’t a good idea so I converted them to cash. I have now converted cash into weapons and ammo because of those feelings and unknowns. I look around and see many who never thought about owning weapons purchasing them. Look at the numbers, storm clouds have blackened the horizon and are now gathering overhead.
