Asking the Right Question

NO pollster of which I am aware has asked this question and it is a monumentally important question. Following the question, I’ll explain.

QUESTION: Would you vote for a Female Major Party Presidential Candidate?

Explanation – Over 51% of the population of the United States is female.

NO female has ever, in our history, been nominated to be our Chief Executive.

Worldwide, since 1900 there have been 47 female heads of Government, vice-President or Prime Minister. Queens are generally, Head of State, but not head of Government. (http://www.iwdc.org/resources/fact_sheet.htm)

America has had Universal suffrage since 1920. We have had female Governors. We have had only 39 female Senators; today there are only 17 out of 100.

The first female to serve in the House was Jeanerette Rankin from Montana in 1917. As of 2011 there were only 72 females in the House, a measly 16.6% (http://www.senate.gov/CRSReports/crs-publish.cfm?pid=‘0E%2C*PLS%3D%22%40%20%20%0A)

Only two females have ever been on a major party ticket for Vice-President.

There have been 25 female Cabinet members, None before 1920 and the 19th Amendment. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_female_United_States_Cabinet_Secretaries)

Considering the high level of education and the work and military experience of America’s Females, I would consider this to be an abominable waste of resources and a gross violation of equal rights.

Women are most likely to be the individual family member who keeps families intact, teaches the young and sets the moral standards of the family unit.

There were several stalwarts of the suffragist movement that lead to passage of the 19th Amendment; None more creditable than a very young Quaker lady from New Jersey, Alice Paul. In defense of the cause of Women’s Voting Rights, Alice was imprisoned, beaten and had raw eggs forced through a tube down her throat. (http://www.lkwdpl.org/wihohio/paul-ali.htm) (This is a great read)

Alice went on to write and present for consideration the Equal Rights Amendment which ultimately died for lack of ratification, just 3 states short of passage. 35 out of 38 at the time. (http://www.equalrightsamendment.org/)

So here we are, tolerating an incompetent hypocrite and liar in the Oval Office, with 2012 elections just around the corner and a plethora of male Republican (RINOS) declared and running. Most of them are carrying too much baggage, have no real plan, are far from conservative but getting all the press. We have heard little of Sarah Palin’s intentions; leaving only one bona fide and certified Christian Constitutional Conservative declared, campaigning and still doing her job representing Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District.

Michele Bachmann has all the credentials to unseat Obama and put America back on the proper course. (http://bachmann.house.gov/Biography/)

If you are in agreement after you read this message and feel that it is time to take a new course, please pass it on and let me know your thoughts.
