Election 2012: A Republic or Marxism

Unlike 1776 when “We the people” went on the offense and kept tyranny on the defense, tyranny, now in the form of progressive political correctness, is again on the offense and “We the People” of Biblical moral virtue are now on the defense. Perhaps your educators or Pastors neglected to teach you about the Black Robed Regiment, Rev. John Wise, Rev. John Peter Muhlenberg, Rev. Jonas Clark, Rev. Nathaniel Whitaker, and that nearly all Minutemen were Christians. Will Christians in America today accept that same challenge?
Samuel Adams: “The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men.”
The most disturbing aspect in being vigilant in your own duties to preserve the Republic is the complacency or perhaps willingness of “we the sheeple.” They either do not value or appreciate the Republic for which it stands, or worse, they prefer to become slaves to those who are elected to be our servants.
Ben Franklin: “Make yourself sheep and the wolves will eat you.” …“Man will ultimately be governed by God or by tyrants.” Dwight D. Eisenhower: “A people that values its privileges above its principles, soon loses both.” Steven Franklin Shell: “Ignore your Rights and they’ll go away. …If they’re not worth defending, then they’re not worth having.”
Since warnings from the Founders concerning preserving, protecting, and defending the Republic they established have essentially been ignored and unheeded, how can “We the people” convince “we the sheeple” that progressives are bent on “fundamentally transforming” America from a Republic into Marxism, when their cheerleaders, the major Marxist media outlets, are using deceptive selective coverage aimed at keeping citizens slaves to a tyrannical government.
Groucho Marx: “The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you’ve got it made.”
While “We the people” continue, for the most part, to “preach to the choir” and “we the sheeple” continue to abide by the deceptions of progressive Marxists, “We the people” need to learn from Andrew Breitbart and others who have refused to remain on the defensive against the Marxist tactics.
Patrick Henry: “It is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth – and listen to the song of that syren, till she transforms us into beasts. … Are we disposed to be of the number of those, who having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not?” …“There is a just God who presides over the destines of nations … who will raise up friends to fight our battle for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. … Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death.”
In order to prevent Marxism returning to the White House in Election 2012, “We the people” must become united now in increasing our efforts to put progressives on the defensive by consistently challenging and demanding, by what foundation do they justify their mandates and acts of tyranny. We will witness progressives are on the defensive when they resort to the Marxist and Alinsky “jamming” tactics of deflecting from the issue, using name calling, false claims of intolerance, bigotry, hate, and bullying. However, “We the people” can no longer afford to kowtow to their agenda to outlaw freedom of speech and silence Biblical moral virtue. We must demand what their foundation is, and learn that it is built on sand and tyranny. See the list of grievances in the Declaration of Independence for insight.
