President Obama no sooner finished his fourth State of the Union “Massage” when his staff packed up his stuff and boarded him onto his Airforce One private jet to beat all jets. And off he was to the hinterlands, teleprompter in hand, appearing before backdrops of supporters to sell his agenda, actually campaigning, because that is his forte.

The campaigning should be in DC before Congress because that is the very squeaky and wobbly wheel that needs the grease, among other things. If Obama hates DC so much that he is constantly running from it, why did he become President in the first place?

Since Obama does not want presidential responsibility, only its perks, bully pulpit, exotic expensive vacations and is not likely to pull a Benedict XVI, then maybe he should be impeached. A principal presidential duty is to enforce the laws of the land, a duty Obama has not only failed at, but absolutely refused to do.

Laws Obama refuses to uphold include DOMA and Immigration; misuses the House power of the purse; refuses to defend and protect the open Southwest borders; blackmails States to force Planned Parenthood funding; refuses to seek Congressional approval for his covert Middle East Wars; favors non-citizen voting; pushes preferential treatment. for illegal aliens; illegal political fundraising; illegal alliance with government unions; illegal drone attacks in countries we are not at war with and the killing of innocent men, women, and children non-combatants; illegal Cabinet appointments under the guise of CZARS; outright refusal to follow Court Orders that ruled that the Obama NLRB appointments while the Senate was technically in session and not in recess.

Richard Nixon resigned under threat of impeachment for a sliver of the accusations against Obama. During the 2008 Democratic presidential nominations, Hillary Clinton questioned whether Obama was up to answering a 3:00 AM phone call for an international crisis, and putting he query into context of the Benghazi terror incident, Hillary was right.

If illegal or undocumented immigrants total only the touted 11 million, less than 4% of the 300 million population, why does that squeaky wheel get so much grease? About the same ratio as homosexuals, atheists, etc, all getting more grease from government and the ACLU than the 50% practicing Christians. Blacks comprise about 17% of the population but despite a Black President, suffer about 25% unemployment.

Why does Obama pay so much homage to Islam if he is a Baptized Christian, to hear it from him? Why does the CIC offer perfunctory, almost degrading salutes to the military guard as he deplanes at the White House?

Liberals make loud and persistent claims that they are against war, particularly the Bush II Wars that were approved by Congress, but nary a whisper about the Obama unapproved escapades  including ousting the leader of Egypt and Libya, only to have friends and protectors of Israel fall into the hands of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood.

Obama upset the balance of power in the Middle East and North Africa, creating terror, violence, and civil war in which the combatants cannot be identified, good or bad, and culminating in the assassination of America’s Ambassador to Libya in Benghazi. Obama managed to pass the buck to Sec. of Defense Leon Panetta who now has tendered his resignation. The question is WHY? How does all the Middle East covert wars equate with liberal anti-war chants? Seemingly, Liberal politicians can do no wrong.

So now America will be celebrating Presidents’ Day, disregarding the obvious warts on the lot of them, be they Democrats or Republicans. The 28th President, Thomas Woodrow Wilson, moved the US into WWI, and was the leader of the Progressive Movement, the grandfather of today’s Liberal Democratic movement, and a principal in bringing about the later-failed League of Nations.

Democratic President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) instigated the US entry into WWII, baiting Nazi subs into sinking American ships transporting war goods, though not yet being directly involved in the war. FDR died early in his fourth term, leaving V.P. Harry Truman to wind up the war by dropping two atomic bombs on Japan, leaving the US as still being the only country to resort to actual nuclear warfare, a dubious precedent. Truman was instrumental in forming the United Nations (UN), which is now in the throes of intentionally failing America.

Republican President George H. W. Bush, the 41st President, was responsible for the first Iraq War, in defense of Kuwait oil fields invaded by Iraq, but also posing a direct threat to Saudi Arabia, an oil friend of the Bush family oil interests. Democratic President Bill Clinton brought war into Kosovo to protect Muslims and in the process dismantled Yugoslavia, while also misadventuring into failed escapades into Africa.

President George W. Bush, the 43rd President, son of the 41st President Bush, was the unfortunate occupant of the Presidency during the 9/11/2001 attack culminating in destruction of the famous NY Twin Towers. Bush responded with ill-planned attacks in Afghanistan, haphazard random aimless bombings while Osama bin Laden laughed himself into neighboring Pakistan.

Republican Calvin Coolidge served from 1923-1929, led the country into the Great Depression of 1929, followed by Herbert Hoover, a registered Republican, who ran as a Democrat, becoming America’s 31st president, taking office in 1929 as the economy plummeted but he failed to recognize its severity and is considered as not having done enough to alleviate the problems. A principal mistake was his pressure of business leaders for higher wages, eerily similar to Obama’s SOTU plan to raise the Federal minimum hourly wage from $7.25 to $9.00.

Hoover was defeated in the 1932 presidential election by Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt who also mismanaged the Depression until manufacturing needed for WWII bailed it out.

President John F. Kennedy (JFK) had his day of dishonor with the botched 1961 invasion at the Bay of Pigs on the South coast of Cuba. That was minor compared with the JFK escalation of the Vietnam War under the mistaken Domino Theory that held the fall of each domino country would topple the next domino country. JFK was assassinated by a so-called “silver bullet” in Texas on Nov. 22, 1963.

V.P Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) succeeded JFK and his claim to fame was the installation of poverty programs, “A Great Society that has escalated to have created the infamous 47% of non-income tax-payers.”

President Richard Nixon resigned on August 9, 1974 under the threat of impeachment due to his cover-up for the rather inane Watergate burglary in search of political trivia at Democratic headquarters. Nixon’s VP Spiro Theodore Agnew previously resigned in 1973, and was replaced by House Minority Leader Gerald R. Ford who subsequently pardoned Nixon, and was defeated in his quest for his own full term as President.

President Dwight D. Eisenhower (IKE) served from 1953 to 1961, following President Harry Truman. IKE had rather calm administrations but is noted for his part in the deposition of the leader of Iran, perhaps more significant than previously believed, in light of today’s Iran new combatative leadership and nuclear threats against the US and Israel. Ike did not knee-jerk respond to every possible crisis, and one memorable story, true or not, states that Ike was briefed about a possible revolution somewhere, to which he responded with a yawn and that he was going to play golf…And there was no revolution that day.

Lest we forget the old-time Presidents, Abraham Lincoln famous for freeing the slaves, in fact DID NOT free the slaves until the third year of the Civil War, and then only freed slaves in the rebelling states that he had no power over, but NOT freeing slaves in the North where he DID have the power to enforce. An estimated 640,000 deaths and a half-million serious injuries would not be tolerated by today’s Americans who are appalled by 6,400 deaths in the Bush II wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

George Washington, the first President of the US set the tone for a maximum two-term presidency and balked at becoming King as many wanted, but presidents have over time tended to reach for the king’s crown. As a footnote, Washington might be considered the father of the expense account in that he offered to serve “for free,” only be repaid for his expenses that before long came to be so large that he was forced to take a salary in lieu of expenses.

Shouldn’t today’s American King be taken off the unlimited Airforce One Jet (two jets; his and hers) expense account?
