Obama Studying Egypt’s ‘Coup’
As Einstein said, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over again but expecting different results.” Egypt was under dictatorship, not the worst in the world, but Brother Obama took it from bad to worse by forcing President Hosni Mubarak out of office to get what he knew would replace the deposed Mubarak – the Muslim Brotherhood, really the scum of the Jihadist World.
And now things are worse with the rubber-stamping of President Mohamed Morsi. CNN picked up the White House’s unfathomable change in spelling of Morsi to Morsy. That confirms CNN is in lockstep with Obama and without question falls in line with whatever the Obama White House proclaims to be or not, proving CNN is absolutely in Obama’s back pocket.
The average annual $2 billion in assistance that US taxpayers gave to Egypt since 1979 is down the drain, but Uncle Sam insists on paying failed bribes to Muslim countries that cannot possibly help the US. Law prohibits funding countries in cases of military coup, but Obama is “studying” the situation before he judges.
“Coup” is defined as “A sudden, violent, and illegal seizure of power from a government.” That is exactly what happened in Egypt but our good man must study the situation and avoid quick judgment, else he would be bound by law to withhold funding from Egypt. Even RINO Sen. John McCain called the military takeover and deposing of President Morsi as a coup d'état.
Obama should have done real studying as a secondary school student in Honolulu, Hawaii in the late 1970s, when young Barack was admittedly a member of the “Choom Gang” – a group of boys who played basketball and choomed, or smoked dope with Barack taking an extra turn from time to time.
If Obama admits the Morsi deposing was a coup, he would not be legally authorized to continue funding Egypt. Coup or no coup in Egypt is a complex question according to Obama and his chief liar Jay Carney.
Cairo, Egypt was one of Obama’s first foreign visits after his 2009 inauguration as president and where he delivered his “New Beginning” speech. Unauthorized support from Obama eventually resulted in dethroning Mubarak and democratization followed with the 2012 election of Mohamed Morsi as president, and now a year later, the dilemma of the military deposing of the first democratically elected president in the history of Egypt. Under current law, if the Morsi overthrow were a coup, it would trigger automatic suspension of most American support.
The politically correct exercise an abundance of caution as Obama needs time to sort it out just as he needs time to sort out the Benghazi, IRS, Fast and Furious and Media scandals. But Obama was quick on the trigger to judge George Zimmerman – media-defined as White though actually Hispanic – for the killing of 17-year-old husky football player Trayvon Martin. CNN constantly showed Trayvon’s picture as a 14-year old angel who at 17 carried baggage of a troublemaker that had just been expelled from school. However the choom smoking Obama solemnly declared that if he had a son, he would be just like Trayvon. Huh. By gosh, maybe truth is stranger than fiction as Trayvon had marijuana in his system; he could be much like Obama’s son if he had a son.
The general public and media are obsessed with the killing of Trayvon Martin but maybe they should divert their attention to Obama’s hometown Chicago where at least 12 people were killed and about 62 wounded in gun violence that rang out across Chicago over the Fourth of July holiday, passing 200 for the half-year, that if continued would pass 400 by year-end. Despite the expected 400+ shootings over 2013, there were 500 shootings in 2012. Why is Obama not deeply alarmed or pro-active at cleaning up the shooting violence in his hometown Chicago? And why is the public so enamored with the flickering flame of Trayvon’s death but ignore the ongoing raging violent fires of Chicago killings and violence?
There is a fictional story of a Jewish mother who had to move to Chicago where her son became a football hero, and despite her son winning the super-bowl, regretted the move to Chicago with all its mayhem, violence and killings. This illustrates the reality that sports is just a big-money game, but the game of life is the real McCoy, as proven by Jesus who gave his life to save the world. Too many athletes as well as many of the proud, gifted and “beautiful” people forget the source of their gifts, attributing the gifts to themselves rather than to the Maker.
