Trayvon-Zimmerman: More Than Racism

The mainstream media reports that after George Zimmerman was acquitted of the killing of Trayvon Martin, blacks are “mostly peaceful,” a seeming contradiction of terms. It’s either peaceful or it isn’t, and mostly peaceful is not peaceful. Riots, violence, trouble and demonstrations are brewing across the country from East to West and North to South; from Oakland, California to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Roman philosopher and statesman Cicero (106-43 B.C.) once said, “When a government becomes powerful it is destructive, extravagant and violent; it is an usurer which takes bread from innocent mouths and deprives honorable men of their substance, for votes with which to perpetuate itself.”

That was then and this is now and – surprise, surprise – some things never change. According to Ecclesiastes 1:9, “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” This proves once again that mankind does not learn from history, a perpetual state of “been there, done that,” but maybe this time will be the magic. People are free to make their own mistakes even when they know it is a mistake, proving once again that as Einstein put it,“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over again but expecting a different result.”

The so-called enlightened generations think they invented everything because they have a zillion Apps on their iPhones but that does not equate to common sense. They also mistakenly believe they invented sex but how do they think they got here? From Darwin’s evolution? Moderns would not know history if it came up and bit their backside but that too will happen sooner than they think. Though often coming later rather than sooner, there are always consequences, and the piper will be paid.

Times have changed from the 1950s, 60s and 70s. The problem is the “culture of today” driven by a new breed of young mostly male blacks who refuse education and work and are driven by pushing drugs and intimidating their neighborhoods where people live in fear and abide by the gang-style “no snitch” rule.

Young hoodlums ridicule many good blacks who study and work hard, but who disrupt and hold their black neighborhoods in fear of reprisal should they notify authorities. Having been jailed is a right of passage for many young black men and that is where indoctrination into the gang-world is fortified and turned toward conversion to Islam.

Blacks consider racism to be a “white” crime against blacks, but neither the Trayvon Martin nor the perpetrator were white, so why the war against “Whitey,” “Honkey” or “Cracker”? The Black community lemmings insist on following their hateful leaders instead of following their head and real religion by throwing false pastors Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and their ilk, along with the Black Panthers, to the wolves. It’s well past the time for blacks to regain their self-respect by cleaning their own house. If blacks want a real leader, there are plenty of them available, headed by the likes of Dr. Benjamin Solomon Carson. Unfortunately, they are considered “too white.”

Ironically, the unfortunate shooting of Trayvon Martin was done by a Hispanic man – George Zimmerman – who was neither white nor black. Zimmerman’s mother is from Peru, and both 14% of blacks and 17% of Hispanics in the US are therefore considered to be minorities. This proves the incident was one minority against another minority, with no majority involved. So why the Sharpton, Jackson, Obama, Elder driven hate against whites by the black community for this tragic event that may have been an ultimate comedy of errors? “Too white” is what young black dropouts call blacks that get educated, dissing and disrespecting those who try to rise above their heritage and environment. Was Zimmerman’s “not guilty” verdict an opportunity for miscreants to create unrest, turmoil, violence, and more killing to keep themselves in the limelight as self-appointed black leaders?

African-Americans form relatively monolithic groups exemplified by providing a guaranteed 90% to 95% voting bloc for Barrack Obama, and by their own decisions reflect that “blood is thicker than water.” Blacks must look beyond their own color, else no one else will. Blacks must not be lemmings, blindly following self-appointed leaders that base their credentials on fanatical tirades inciting to riot.

My wife is disabled and benefits from aides who help for two hours in the mornings and two hours at night. They are wonderful people and I talk to them openly about race, but they are generally not politically informed and vote in unison for the Liberal wing of the Democratic Party. Most blacks want to move out of their deteriorating neighborhoods but do not have sufficient resources. The car of one aide has been broken into and vandalized many times, and she is so strapped financially that her gas tank always seems to be on empty. We live near Atlantic City and Peasantville, both havens for young blacks who have no fear of police, nor respect for anyone – not even for their own.

Cities and urban areas are the most afflicted by the drug-driven uneducated hoodlums of all colors. Some neighborhoods are so bad that police hesitate to respond to any but the more critical situations. I talk to them openly about race without fear in hope that bringing the problem into discussion is a necessary part of the solution.

Racism is a political opportunity for two top-dog black men – President Obama and hatchet man AG Eric Holder – who, like bears attracted to honey, climb aboard any perceived racial incident involving blacks and whites. They detonate incidental racial bonfires into raging infernos by pouring political gasoline on the slight flame. Obama and Holder are supported by an army of fake civil right leaders who flock to unending local incidents – not in the interest of protecting blacks, but to create yet more diversions to deflect national attention from their own crimes and scandals by throwing another meatless dry bone to the still-adoring media and unsuspecting public.

Racism like all other forms of hate that lead to violence are, and have always been wrong. But it is like the Hatfield and McCoy feud that went on for 100 years as it was forgotten that initially the feud was over an allegedly stolen pig.

Current racism charges and related violence over Zimmerman killing Trayvon are a fraud in their own right because a six-woman jury found that the evidence did not support the charges. It’s that simple. Zimmerman admitted killing Trayvon, but his claim of self-defense could not be disproven beyond a reasonable doubt.

Not to justify any racism, the fact is that black accusers of racism by whites, are factually guilty of racism at higher proportional rates, making their rage totally unjustifiable and results in violent national protests fostered by leaders whose cause célèbre is to incite to riot, violence, and even murder, as threatened by the Black Panthers that AG Holder refuses to prosecute. So much for Obama and his designee Holder and the religious dedication of a number of self-ordained men of the cloth.

A friend reports, “Unfortunately I see this on a daily basis….those black people who are my friends and colleagues are sometimes caught in-between because they are considered ‘too white,’” like an Oreo. How pitiful is that?

As far as I can speculate, because that is what goes on nationally across all segments pro or con, I think the problem goes back to Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War that was actually fought to prevent secession by Southern States. In the face of rising Northern discontent in the third year of the Civil War and its unfathomable cost in blood and money, Lincoln pulled the curtain, and voila, presented The Emancipation Proclamation, freeing the slaves. Not exactly – only Southern slaves were freed, an action beyond Lincoln’s power, but within Lincoln’s power to free Northern slaves, not a word.

Over time blacks gained many God-given human rights, though painfully slow, but it took Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to lead national protests and marches across the country in his role for the advancement of black civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience. Good reverends Sharpton and Jackson are not even faint shadows of renowned Dr. Martin Luther King, who is enshrined with the likes of former South African President Nelson Mandela. Mr. Mandela spent 27 years in prison for his fight agains racism embodied by apartheid – racial segregation enforced through legislation in South Africa until 1994.

Florida’s Trayvon-Zimmerman trial exposes once again deep wounds and grievances afflicting America, but might it be just a coincidence that protests during the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s gave rise to discontent and demonstrations against preemptive wars in Vietnam, Korea, and later into Cambodia, ultimately resulting in America’s Military Ohio National Guard 1970 response to protests by killing four Kent State University students and wounding nine.

Across the country up to four million students rose against the wars and reinstallation of the remnant of WWII military draft lottery, further affecting public opinion over US involvement in Vietnam. That war had its genesis in 1950, when in response to China and Russia offering weapons to Viet Minh fighters, the US pledged $15 million to France for the war in Indochina. President Lyndon Johnson used that authority to order the first US ground troops to Vietnam in March 1965. Eighteen years after the innocuous $15M infusion, Richard Nixon in 1968 was elected president with his promise to end the Vietnam War which finally ended in April 1975, but at a prohibitive cost of nearly 60,000 dead American Military, and an estimated 3 million Vietnamese, Cambodians and Koreans. Someone please explain, why are American politicians making the same mistake? Do they think it is a never ending Groundhog Day movie?

The US Air Force employed environmentally damaging Agent Orange as a defoliant that came in metal orange containers to kill vegetation along roads and trails used by Vietcong forces that had the unforeseen consequences of permanently damaging US troops as well.

American politicians have learned nothing from history, let alone the immediate past, and are now mired in unending conflagrations erupting randomly at almost every corner of the earth but magnified in the Middle East and North African countries, but extending to the Far East including the Philippines.

Those 1950s-1970s compounded already socially contentious times that in addition to fomenting preemptive wars that continually crop up to this day, gave rise to infiltration of the gay community into seminaries that were suddenly flooded with welcome new additions to the declining numbers of clergy, leading to the scandalous sexual abuse of young boys that was often covered up by superiors who transferred sexual predator clergy from one parish to unsuspecting parishes where perverted behavior began anew. Decline of church membership spread across many denominations and beliefs as well, resulting in a general fall away from faith and consequently to the easing of mores and religious based restrictions of the now hated and illegal Ten Commandments.

Discrimination like most things is a two-edged sword that on one hand is defined as “The unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things,” especially on grounds of race, age, or sex, but on the other hand is defined as “Recognition and understanding of the difference between one thing and another,” with synonyms including “distinction,” “discernment” and “differentiation.” Discrimination, like coffee, alcohol and sugar, can be both good and bad, depending on use and abuse.

Much of crime is not related to race but to lack of education and job-related income that overrides skin color, and is the vehicle of choice to transport ghetto occupants and lower-level earners up the economic-social ladder. More dialogue does not supplant jobs as the solution to ethnic problems. “Money talks, bull—- walks” is common racial slang for “You talk the talk but not walk the walk.”

White and black Americans often speak a different language but money is the driving force and the best way to appreciate the value of money is to work for it. Curiously, the black unemployed community relies on a black president who is all about insuring the 25% of unemployed blacks who may not need it nor can’t afford it. The black president might very well be blacks worst nightmare, but hopefully there will be a reawakening – sooner rather than later.
