Obama: ‘I Can Juggle Many Foreign Crises’
Obama escapes problems at home by global travel to reassure allies, “I can juggle many foreign crises.” Yeah, but at a certain point even the juggler must stop as juggling is not a perpetual motion. Obama sounds like the song, “Anything you can do, I can do better.”
Without ever having a job to train him on juggling, unless counting community organizing, Obama juggles priceless fragile heirlooms of the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, historic words of Lincoln in The Gettysburg Address – “Government of the people, for the people, by the people” – not to mention maliciously smashing the stone tablets of the politically incorrect Ten Commandments.
Barnum and Bailey would not hire this self-declared juggler who is whatever suits him at any given moment. Bernie Madoff of Ponzi Scheme fame was an accomplished juggler and made everything look good, but the thorns of truth and reality finally caught up to Bernie. His new digs include a not-so-custom-fitting orange jump suit. Only if…
Obama travels and cavorts on the world stage in hope of recovering his old magic, and to escape his IRS and Benghazi scandals, ObamaCare, and deficit and debt shortcomings at home. But alas, peace negotiations result in meaningless sound bytes, assuring the global community, “I can worry about a bunch of different problems at once.” But can he chew gum at the same time?
Worrying about problems and dealing with them are two different things. Obama boasts his administration is capable of dealing with the array of foreign crises that popped up in recent days. Strange that capability and “ines-capability” of foreseeing unforeseen consequences have spelling in common.
Global powers are not as easily impressed as is Congress at the Obama threat that he has a phone and a pen. World powers know they have the cards to trump the formerly self-anointed one who inferred that his administration remains in constant contact with European allies and insisted that the Ukrainian crisis will not be overshadowed by other global challenges. That blankets a multitude of problems that do not respond to sound bytes. Does Putin suspect or care about being overshadowed by the thin man?
