Dear reader and fellow American, please allow me to invade your space for a few moments. I have some serious questions just begging for answers.

Where has America gone? Who took her? Was she simply abducted or did she go willingly? In any event, I seldom noticed the overt actions which so badly wounded her. For eighty-five years, I have resonated with her joyful rhythms, watched her struggle through the great dust bowl and wretched depression of the 1920s and 30s.

She was strong because her people were strong, willful, energetic and focused. We had a sound democratic republic. Citizens kept abreast of the world, country and local news through truthful and reliable news media.

Sure, there were glitches which we overcame through good common sense and by sending those who violated our trust straight to jail with the caveat, “Do not pass Go; Do not collect $200.”

We had such ‘celebrities’ as John Dillinger, “Pretty Boy” Floyd, The Barker gang and Bonnie and Clyde. On the plus side we had ‘Babe’ Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Satchel Paige and The Harlem Globetrotters.

The world had Adolph Hitler with his accumulated baggage of hate, the pompous Benito Mussolini and Hideki Tojo, consumed with his desire to rule all Asia.

Life was good, that is until the insidious and invidious head of Socialism reared its ugly head under the guise of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal. That package had some noteworthy freebies that appealed to the slackers, lazy and no-goods among the citizenry. Social Security, a ‘temporary’ program designed as a lifeline for old age security sounded remarkable. Social Security Disability Insurance followed with its coterie of ‘helpful’ lawyers.

None of this strengthened America; all these programs did was to provide a crutch to the lazy, indolent and inert. Fortunately, the United States Supreme Court thwarted many of the more useless plans, But Socialism had its foot in the door.

While America had its’ own problems, a major portion of the rest of the world was in turmoil. Mussolini invaded Ethiopia, Japan invaded China and Hitler’s Wermacht blitzkrieg attacked and overran Poland. World War II was underway. Apparently, no country had leadership with the vision to perceive the evil overtaking and then smothering them. Charles Lindberg was adamant in his declaration that Hitler posed no threat to world peace. Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain of Great Britain declared on September 30, 1938 that the Munich Agreement and the Anglo-German Declaration insured, “Peace For Our Time.”

President Roosevelt promised that no American troops would again set foot on European soil. He quite obviously said that with tongue-in-cheek.

Okay, we came out of World War Two as the most powerful nation on Earth. However, we had lost something. We were losing our real identity, American. Over time, we lost or gave up our love of and faith in our Creator. We allowed the government to diminish us as Judeo-Christian people. We the People allowed our news media to lie to us. We allowed our government officials to lie, cheat, carry on illegitimate sexual affairs, and allowed them to become the masters of our fate. This was not the intention of our Founding Fathers.

To my way of thinking, We the People did a fine job when we elected Harry S. Truman as our 33rd President. He was a square shooter, honest to a fault and never held himself up as better than his constituency. His motto, “The Buck Stops Here” could and should be that of every chief executive. Facts never lie; politicians invariably do.

We are in big trouble; our government is failing us, it seems gutless in the face of adversity. They continue to play the Political Correctness game and the “give him/her one more chance” game.

Barack Hussein Obama is an imposter, unable or unwilling to present documented proof of his eligibility to serve as our Chief Executive. He is arrogant to the point of becoming insufferable. He claims to be a Christian but fails to practice the faith. As a matter of fact, Mr. Obama has shown a marked preference for Islam during his tenure.

Mr. Obama makes a point of distancing himself from We the People, when he pointedly fails to follow well-established tradition, such as proclaiming a National Day of Prayer, but hosts some 500 Muslims at an Islamic Prayer Service in the White House. He fails to pay homage to our war dead on Veterans’ Day or on Memorial Day. Instead he hosts, in our White House, an in-your-face gathering of the LGBT organization.

As for some of the other major offenders but lesser lights than our would-be messiah. Chris Dodd and Barney Frank should be indicted on criminal charges for their activities in the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac fiasco. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid should be impeached for their collusion in creating the unwanted and likely unconstitutional Obamacare ‘healthcare mugging’ of America.

And then we have one of the longtime congressional lowlifes, Charles Rangel, a loudmouth admitted lawbreaker that should get as much prison time as Randall ‘Duke’ Cunningham, who disgraced not only himself but every veteran of every service.

Most recently, Mr and Mrs Obama with children and some 500 hangers-on made an expedition to Asia. This trip cost taxpayers multi millions of dollars with 500 Dollar a day hotel suites in India. Then Obama made a pilgrimage to Indonesia to renew old acquaintances and to be re-immersed in his childhood culture. America had absolutely nothing to gain from this. Evidently it was a real boost to an already over-inflated ego. Narcissism has no limits.

America has lost its moral heading, and, unless we, You and I and our elected officials do a complete about face right now, Islam and our socialist government will wipe out We the People with our purple mountain majesty and our fruited plains. Forget about Judaism and Christianity and all that good stuff. We will all be dhimmi and Obama will rule the magnificent caliphate of new Cordoba from the extravagant Great Mosque at Ground Zero.
