Gov. Gavin Newsom and virtually every elected Democrat in California are all saying the same thing: If only Donald Trump would pull the National Guard out of Los Angeles, all the violence would end.
 
President Trump deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles because the protests were turning into violent riots.
 
Before the National Guard was sent in, every leading Democrat said if they would just stop conducting immigration enforcement operations in their “sanctuary state,” there would be no problem. (See next item.)
 
Hopefully, no American is fooled by this rhetoric.
 
Newsom and his party are putting American citizens last and illegal aliens first, the same way Joe Biden and Kamala Harris did. They wanted millions of illegal aliens to come into our country, and they want to keep every last one of them here. It is key to their strategy of “fundamentally transforming America.”
 
 
 
Bass Blasts The Law
 
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass made it very clear where she stands. Speaking on CNN, Bass said:
 
“… if immigration raids had not happened here, we would not have the disorder that went on last night…  people in this city have a rapid response network. If they see [immigration police], they go out, and they protest. And so, it’s just a recipe for pandemonium that is completely unnecessary.” 
 
The mayor’s remarks are very revealing.
 
Her anger is not aimed at the National Guard. Her anger is not aimed at the Marines. Bass is angry because President Trump is trying to reassert the sovereignty of the United States over Los Angeles.
 
Mayor Bass not only refuses to cooperate in the enforcement of federal immigration laws, but she is also insisting that President Trump not enforce our federal immigration laws. That is what Donald Trump was elected to do, and the American people support him.
 
But Bass, Newsom, Rep. Maxine Waters, and others are furious that Trump is insisting on interrupting the Left’s destruction of Los Angeles and America.
 
Rep. Waters, now 86 years old, got in the faces of federal law enforcement officers and harassed National Guardsmen who were simply following lawful orders. That’s the example she wants to set as a congresswoman.
 
It reminded me that 33 years ago, during the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles, Waters objected to the use of the word “riot” and insisted that it was an “insurrection,” and she was all for it! By the time it was over, 63 people were killed in the “insurrection.”
 
 
 
Thank You, President Trump
 
Thanks to President Trump’s decisive action, we have been spared headlines about federal buildings in Los Angeles being occupied or set on fire by leftist insurgents and anarchists.
 
While the LAPD dealt with the unhinged anarchists and rioters, mobs descended on federal buildings throughout the area Monday night only to find that National Guard troops and Marines were there protecting each building.
 
Part of this leftist insurrection is modeled on their insurrection in the summer of 2020. Violent Marxists wanted to take over a federal building like they did in Portland five years ago. A federal courthouse in Portland, Oregon, was repeatedly attacked and firebombed.
 
We identified two left-wing groups involved in the rioting, and more people are talking about those groups today, including Fox News. But there are other groups stoking the violence, possibly with even more sinister motives.
 
Black vehicles were seen speeding up to crowds. Men dressed in black jumped out and started distributing military-grade tactical gear, including riot shields and gas masks. Seconds later, they were back in the vehicle and moving on to another part of the mob.
 
No one should doubt what is going on. There are people behind the Los Angeles riots who are attempting to stoke violence in cities all over the country. They want to see the end of America.
 
Are there “useful idiots” in the crowd? Yes. There always are. Soviet leaders believed that communism depended on “useful idiots” in the West. But there is no doubt that there is a bigger conflict at play here than just immigration enforcement.
 
The leftists who run California were willing to send armed police to shut down a Christian school during the pandemic. They shut down church services on Palm Sunday. They threatened to arrest pastors.
 
But they will do everything they can to prevent immigration police from capturing illegal aliens who have committed serious crimes. They would rather stand with illegal aliens waving the flags of foreign countries than defend the religious liberty of Christians. That tells you where their heart is and what their agenda is.
 
 
 
A Clear Pattern
 
When something happens once, it’s an incident. When it happens twice, it’s a coincidence. When it happens three times, it’s a pattern.
 
Yet another Chinese researcher has been arrested for attempting to smuggle biological material into the United States.
 
Chengxuan Han, a Ph.D. student at a university in Wuhan, China (yes – that Wuhan!), was arrested over the weekend as she arrived at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Han was on her way to the University of Michigan, where she had previously mailed four packages containing illegal biological material.
 
Han lied about her knowledge of the packages and their contents. Law enforcement officials also determined that she wiped her cell phone three days before leaving communist China.
 
Two other Chinese researchers at the University of Michigan are accused of smuggling a dangerous fungus into America.
 
In related news, retired General Jack Keane warns that the threat from communist China is growing every day. Keane said:
 
“China is conducting the most comprehensive penetration of our society since we were formed 250 years ago … and we’ve never seen anything quite like this. It’s so comprehensive – cyber espionage penetrating our critical infrastructure … sleeping inside those capabilities, telecommunications, food supply, pharmaceutical drugs, transportation, the list goes on.
 
"And in the event of this conflict with China in the Pacific, they would attempt to defeat the American people at home and break their will to support the war.”
 
 
 
The Left’s Antisemitism
 
There was a shocking spectacle on the floor of the House of Representatives Monday night.
 
The GOP majority brought up a resolution denouncing the antisemitic terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado, that was carried out by a radical Islamist who was in the country illegally. The resolution also praised the work of our federal immigration police, who are protecting the American people by removing criminal aliens from the country.
 
This should have been an easy, non-controversial vote. The resolution should have passed unanimously.
 
But a majority of House Democrats – 113 of them, including Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries – opposed the resolution.
