The New Red Guards

Antifa and BLM are carrying on in the tradition of Mao tse-Tung’s Red Guards.

It would have seemed unthinkable just a few short years ago, even with Barack Obama in the White House (talk about unthinkable), that we would have a society that so clearly mirrors China under the vile Mao tse-Tung.

Mao, using the Red Guards, who numbered as many as 11 million at one time, as the enforcers of his bloody revolution, was able to destroy what he referred to as the Four Olds. Those were Old Customs, Old Cultures, Old Habits and Old Ideas.

Here in America, where Antifa and BLM are carrying on in the tradition of the Red Guards, we have spent the past year watching them attack our statues, our institutions (courthouses and police precincts), political dissidents and even science (Biology) by insisting that men can become women, women can become men, and, for good measure, that men can become pregnant.

Under Mao, even place names became a form of propaganda, so people woke up to find the neighborhood park being renamed Worker-Peasant-Soldier Park and finding they now lived on Great Leap Forward Road.

How many streets and squares are now named in honor of career criminal George Floyd?

And by not only turning a blind eye to mobs burning and looting, but by actively encouraging these acts of violence, the authorities are letting us know we are powerless to do anything about it.

It’s the same way they’re using the so-called pandemic to get a stranglehold on us, depriving us of employment, free movement, free speech and freedom of religion.

And in case you were wondering why they are so desperate to disarm law-abiding citizens and so disinterested in going after the thugs who are actually killing thousands of urban dwellers year after year, you can stop wondering.

All of this madness isn’t merely happening. It’s being choreographed by certain individuals, some of whom hold or have held political office, many of whom are just too rich for their own good and even worse for our good.

The most notorious of these is George Soros. When I think of Soros, I think of certain products that have become so famous, their name is used even when referring to a competitive product; such was the case with Kleenex, Coca-Cola and Band-Aids. Hershey nearly made it to the promised land.

Something similar has taken place with Soros. There are other sleazy billionaires who want to bring down the United States because they regard its Bill of Rights as so much bilge, as the sort of thing that a nerdy nation would create in order to protect the weaklings from the strong. In a word, from them.

They want to see the Republic in ruins because they assume that they will be the leaders of what might be called the Fourth Reich.

Towards that end, they join Soros in financing groups like Antifa and BLM, electing D.A.s like George Gascón, Chesa Boudin, Larry Krasner and Kim Foxx, and paying the coyotes to bring an endless stream of illegal aliens across our border, to be re-settled in those states where 50,000 new votes are enough to swing elections.

I take it that the other billionaires don’t mind that the face of their group looks like a loathsome toad. After all, George Soros isn’t running for anything. He and they are simply deciding who is running and, with their financial help, winning our elections.

At least we know that Soros is on the other side. He hates us and we hate him. It’s all open and aboveboard. The ones it’s nearly as easy to despise are those who fly under false flags.

For instance, it was recently exposed that Utah’s Mike Lee isn’t the only Conservative who is being unduly influenced by the Silicon Valley tech behemoths. The reason he hasn’t done something about the piece of legislation that prevents the social media giants from being sued is because those companies finance his campaigns. They finance his campaigns because he chairs the Senate committee that oversees these monopolies.

But we now know that such pillars of Conservatism as the Heritage Foundation, the Brookings Institute and the Federalist Society all accept major funding from the likes of Facebook, Google, Apple and Amazon.

I’m not surprised by the Federalist Society, not since I discovered that President Trump relied very much on their advice when appointing his cabinet and agency heads, an undistinguished group of people including Reince Priebus, Tom Price, David Shulkin, William Barr and Christopher Wray, brought in to replace James Comey.

I assume Trump based his misguided selection of Jeff Sessions on a sense of loyalty to the first senator to support his candidacy.

I further assume that when he selected Mike Pompeo to replace Rex Tillerson, he had finally learned on the job to trust his own judgment and not the judgment of the Deep State weasels at the Federalist Society.

Still, even a political novice should have smelled Rex Tillerson from a mile away. After all, he was the man who, while serving as the President of the Boy Scouts of America, promoted the idea of homosexual Scout leaders. The BSA is still paying off the inevitable lawsuits that resulted from that knuckleheaded notion.

Lindsey Graham is yet another example of a person who has no right to advertise himself as a Conservative. As I learned, thanks to Tucker Carlson’s intrepid reporters, Sen. Graham, who’s getting to look and sound more like his own grandmother every day, is the only Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee to rubberstamp every single left-wing judge nominated to the federal bench by Joe Biden.

As you’ve probably all guessed, Frank, the liberal whose exchange with me I posted the other day still hasn’t gotten back to me. Since he is on the subscription list through the end of August, I assume he read the article.

From my own experience and what I hear from others, Liberals hate having to defend their own emotionally based opinions. They prefer to either dismiss you as a racist, a sexist or as someone suffering from some sort of phony phobia, or they just walk away as if it’s a waste of their breath even talking to you.

But if there’s one thing I’m certain of, it’s that when those on the Left are reluctant to debate the issues, it’s not because they don’t want to embarrass their opponents with their logic and superior intellect.

I was in college for a couple of years of the Vietnam War. I wasn’t crazy about UCLA in general, but one of the things I hated the most was having to see so many of my fellow Bruins pretending to be opposed to the War because they were pacifists.

Because those on the Left lack both a sense of humor and a sense of irony, the draft-evading students of the 60s would often wear Army fatigues because they thought it made them look macho. Or perhaps the word back then was cool.

Today, their grandkids join Antifa, don masks and hoodies, behave like Hitler’s Brown Shirts and Mussolini’s Black Shirts while claiming to be morally opposed to fascism.

These schmucks still don’t get the joke.

It occurs to me that it’s inappropriate to refer to Joe Biden and his advisors as an administration; judging by their actions since January, the word for it is regime.

Opposites, we’re told, attract. But it’s only temporary. God forbid two such people get married during their short-term derangement.

As inevitably as water finding its own level, opposites repel. It’s what people have in common that lasts.

Imagine a Liberal and a Conservative tying the knot. It will soon be around the other’s throat. The differences don’t even have to be as important as politics. People who prefer classical music will never be happy with someone who’s a fan of rap. A man who’s fond of meat who finds himself on a blind date with a vegan should get up, explain he’s forgotten about a previous engagement (no doubt with a cheeseburger), leave enough money to pay the check and leave.

Most important of all, don’t look back. She may be a real looker and you don’t want to weaken your resolve at the last minute.
