Elephants in the Hood

If you don’t get the reference, it’s because you never saw a certain segment on some news show years ago.

There are so many terrible things taking place in America, it’s hard to keep track of them. And hard as it is to believe, not all of them are Joe Biden’s fault.

For instance, he is not responsible for the deterioration of the black community, although it was his predecessors in the White House, people like FDR, Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama, ably assisted by the intermittent Republicans, who have turned generations of black folks into junkies, addicted to both drugs and welfare.

I have two questions related to the problem. The first: how is it that the federal government, under John and Robert Kennedy, were able to do real damage to the Mafia by enforcing RICO (Racketeer Influenced & Corrupt Organizations Act) and sending scores of goombahs off to federal prison, but do nothing to curtail the drug-dealing goons whose turf wars are responsible for most of this nation’s homicides?

Is it because there is far less political backlash for targeting Italian mobsters than in going after black hoodlums?

My second question is where are the bull elephants in the black enclaves? If you don’t get the reference, it’s because you never saw a certain segment on some news show years ago. It detailed how park rangers in Africa were mystified when they came across the carcasses of slaughtered rhinos. To solve the mystery, they set up surveillance cameras.

When they developed the film, they found that adolescent elephants were killing rhinos for the heck of it. The rangers realized that the problem was that all the resident bull elephants had been killed by poachers for their tusks.

Their first decision was to kill the teenage gang leader, determining he was unredeemable. Their second decision was to fly in several bull elephants. The bulls quickly established domain and let the kids know there was a right way to be an elephant and a wrong way, and the wrong way was no longer acceptable.

In a movie, the likes of Morgan Freeman, James Earl Jones, Laurence Fishbourne and Denzel Washington, would be out in the streets laying down the law to their grandkids and the kids’ friends, letting them know that there will be no more killing and no more blaming the bloodshed on cops and so-called white supremacists. If I were writing the script, the motivation for the three vigilantes would be that the stray bullets the punks are always shooting off had killed their four and five- year-old grandsons and granddaughters.

I would probably throw in a few righteous religious leaders who cared more about their flock than they did about the payoffs from the Democrats.

In case anyone still harbors any doubts about why Biden is encouraging illegal aliens to flood the southern border and flying in tens of thousands of Afghans, he gave the game away in 2015 when he said “Folks like me who are Caucasian of European descent will be by 2017 an absolute minority in the United States of America. We will be fewer than 50% from then on. And that’s not a bad thing. That’s the source of our strength.”

By “our strength,” the race traitor was referring to his party, not his nation.

He added, just in case anyone was confused, “Non-white DNA is the source of our strength.”

Another notable eugenicist would disagree with that conclusion, that someone being Adolph Hitler, who was also obsessed with racial (racist) DNA.

The only difference is that Hitler was appealing to a different political base, that being Germany’s anti-Semites.

Leftists are always setting up a false dichotomy between property rights and human rights, when in fact they are inseparable. So long as the property was legally obtained, its ownership is as basic a right as those enumerated in the First Amendment.

It is tyrants appealing to the greed of those without property who wage revolts by promising to take that which belongs to others and handing it over to those who want it. In the end, it’s the tyrants who own the land and those who have killed for it who are enslaved.

In other places, it’s legally elected members of a state or federal government who take the land without firing a shot; it’s called eminent domain.

I keep wondering why Jen Psaki is always being referred to as if her name were Jenpsaki and never as Press Secretary Psaki or as Biden’s pet Pinocchio.

It seems that this administration is always trying to distract us from one self-inflicted disaster by causing another. In just eight months, Biden has tried to distract us from an obviously stolen election by creating a mess at the border and in Afghanistan, and inflicted inflation and Covid mandates on us. He is now trying to distract us from a $3.5 trillion grab bag by moving disease-infested Haitians into our country and daring us to do anything about it.

Even Greg Abbott, allegedly a Republican governing a red state, has refused to finish building Donald Trump’s wall or using the Texas National Guard to shut down the flood of illegal aliens while the wall is being completed.

And as if all that isn’t bad enough, Abbott has allowed a couple of border guards on horses to be scapegoated into suspensions and possible dismissals because Joe Biden, Maxine Waters, Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi pretended that horse reins were bullwhips.

Texans should prove their allegiance to conservative principles by rolling Abbott out of the governor’s mansion and voting for Allen West in next year’s gubernatorial primary.

But proving that Justice is not only blind, but deaf and dumb in 2021 America, General Mark Milley and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin still have their jobs.

My only quibble with the Bill of Rights is that I thought it was shortsighted of the Founders to prohibit naturalized citizens from running for the presidency.

Many of those who migrate here legally are far more patriotic than the native-born.

My quibble with the 14th Amendment is that it grants American citizenship to anyone born in the United States. It is the reason that so many pregnant women sneak into the country to deliver their babies. Citizenship is too precious to be determined by geography. That is why I never thought it mattered if Obama was born in Hawaii or Kenya. For me, it was enough that his dippy mother was an American citizen.

Inasmuch as nobody is supposed to profit from the commission of a crime, I have never understood why anchor babies were granted such a gift. After all, if their father or mother had robbed a bank and been arrested, their offspring wouldn’t be entitled to keep the loot.

There is little danger to young children from Covid 19, so why should they have to wear masks? Whereas the disease is unlikely to harm them, forcing them to wear masks even when running around playing games deprives them of oxygen and will obviously have long range health consequences. It might even cause brain damage, condemning them to a lifetime of voting for Democrats.

California, Oregon and Minnesota are among the states that are doing away with zones for single family dwellings. They’re committing this insanity at the behest of deep pocket developers who are eager to turn the homes into apartment houses. It is the quickest way to kill off suburbs and for left-wing state legislators to give the finger to middleclass homeowning Republicans.

It’s worth noting that Tucker Carlson shared a video of China’s dictator, Xi Jinping, declaring “Housing should be for living, not for speculation.”

I sure know who I’d be voting for if Jinping were running for governor against Gavin Newsom, Kate Brown or Tim Walz.

Judge Jeanine Pirro observed: “If the Democrats found out that the illegal aliens were going to vote Republican, we’d have a wall in a week.”

It would be nice to hear such clear and obvious truths spoken by a Republican politician. But I guess they’re all too busy dunning me for campaign contributions.

Now that I am no longer receiving pet peeves, I can state that at least a third of them were related to other people’s lousy driving.

I suppose I was surprised because I do so little driving these days. Because of my lifestyle, my top 10 peeves probably involve computers.

I not only don’t like driving because of other drivers, I don’t like being a pedestrian. Crossing a street makes me feel like a moving target.

And a slow moving one at that.
