Evidently, Joe Biden is doing a pretty good Rodney Dangerfield impersonation at the White House these days. According to NBC News, Biden regularly complains that he’s getting no respect from the American people for all the good things he’s doing!

Yes, that’s right. NBC reports that “Biden has vented to aides about not getting credit from Americans or the news media for actions he believes have helped the country, particularly on the economy.”

Credit for helping the economy? He’s delusional!

Credit is what comes to you when you’ve done something good, and I’m hard-pressed to think of one good thing Biden has done.

• He has erased our southern border more effectively than an invading army.

• He poured trillions of dollars into an overheating economy and gave us an inflation disaster.

• Gasoline is more than $4.60 a gallon, up more than $1.50 from a year ago, on its way to $6.00 a gallon. And, yes, Joe Biden did that.

• His foreign policy is a disaster. Europe is in the middle of its first major war in 80 years. One miscalculation and we could be in a nuclear war with Russia or communist China.

• Violent crime is surging.

• Biden has fanned the flames of racial division.

• He appointed a Supreme Court justice who is so extreme she refuses to say when life begins or what a woman is.

No wonder a majority of the country believes he’s mentally unfit to be president. But Biden apparently expects you to applaud all this hard work!

What Biden is getting is a lot of well-deserved criticism for everything he has messed up. As a result, Democrats are bracing for a wipeout this November.

Chaos In Camelot

Joe Biden was supposed to usher in a new era of unity and cooperation. Not only has he failed to deliver on that promise, his own White House is in turmoil.

NBC reports that Biden is frustrated with constant efforts by White House staff to walk back his statements, which he views as undermining his authority. (See below.) There is talk of a major shakeup with Biden’s long-time chief of staff, Ron Klain, being removed.

Another report said 21 black staff members in the White House have left or are planning to leave because they feel they are being stifled in their current positions with no opportunities to advance.

If Klain gets the boot, there’s speculation that Anita Dunn is likely to replace him as White House chief of staff. Dunn would be an odd choice. While known for her work as a “crisis communications expert,” she was an adviser to Hollywood harasser Harvey Weinstein.

Dunn, known for her admiration of communist Chinese dictator Chairman Mao, also spent six months focus grouping attacks on conservatives only to come up with the term “ultra-MAGA.” Donald Trump eagerly embraced the phrase because he’s happy to be known as being better than anyone else at making America great.

I doubt Anita Dunn can solve Biden’s problems.

Meanwhile, a new poll finds Biden’s approval rating has crashed to just 34%. As one commentator put it, his poll numbers are crashing faster than Nancy Pelosi’s drunk husband.

When asked about his terrible poll ratings, Biden says, “I don’t look at polls.” But NBC News says the exact opposite — that he “gets weekly polling briefings that delve into key demographics.”

After all, without those frequent briefings how else would he know that he’s not getting any credit for all his hard work?

Ban Or No Ban?

Over the Memorial Day weekend, President Biden did what he does best — spreading confusion and misinformation while toeing the leftist line. While addressing the tragedy in Uvalde, Biden caused a lot of concern when he said “there is no rational basis” for 9mm ammunition and weapons “in terms of self-protection, hunting.”

What Biden doesn’t understand, doesn’t appreciate or doesn’t care about is that he just lashed out at the firearms most people buy for self-defense. If anyone doubts that the left’s ultimate goal is to confiscate firearms, remember Biden’s remarks. As we noted yesterday, Canada is aggressively moving in this direction.

Predictably, the White House was busy Tuesday trying to clean up Biden’s threat to ban handguns. But there was another disturbing statement.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre was asked about proposals to “harden” our schools with physical changes and having trained security guards just like we do at banks, museums and sporting events.

Pierre replied, “I know there has been a conversation about hardening schools, that is not something [Biden] believes in.”

What?!

Once again, it’s clear that the left is only interested in restricting your Second Amendment rights, not anything else that might actually work.

And it raises an interesting question: If a school security officer at Robb Elementary had been able to stop the Uvalde attacker, what would the White House say? That would be the worst possible outcome for the left, which is so determined to disarm the American people.

The Real Threat To Democracy

I want to revisit Tuesday’s verdict in the Sussmann trial. There is absolutely no doubt that Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann lied to the FBI. He lied to the CIA too.

Well, the jury foreman let the cat out of the bag in an interview after the case was over. She said, “I don’t think it should have been prosecuted. There are bigger things that affect the nation than a possible lie to the FBI.”

That will come as a big surprise to Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. Flynn’s life was ruined over a charge of lying to the FBI. He spent four years fighting it.

Here’s the bottom line: Since 2000, Republican presidential candidates have received on average about 6.7% of the vote in Washington, D.C. Even in his 1984 landslide victory, Ronald Reagan only received 13.7% of the vote in the nation’s capital.

There is zero chance that any high-profile conservative will get a fair trial in Washington. At the same time, it is impossible to imagine any well-known leftist, socialist Democrat being held accountable in Washington, D.C.

But we can’t miss the bigger issue. The central foundation of this entire five year investigation from Robert Mueller and John Durham is there for everyone to see — the Clinton campaign weaponized the FBI to take down Donald Trump.

They worked with foreign interests, including Russians, to manufacture a dossier to promote the libelous claim that Trump won the 2016 election while colluding with Russia and that he took office compromised by Russia.

That smear by itself is a disgusting dirty trick. But the eager involvement of the FBI is even far more serious.

Elements of the Justice Department and our intelligence agencies willingly exploited the enormous power they’ve been given to protect us from foreign enemies and they used it against Trump and his administration.

That’s not a dirty trick. That is a Deep State coup against the duly elected president of the United States. That did more to undermine and threaten democracy in America than anything Vladimir Putin could ever dream of.

This is what cannot and must not be ignored.

I believe this was done because of Trump’s open criticism of endless, no-win wars that the Washington establishment led us into. More importantly, his oft-repeated goal of “making America great again” flies in the face of the globalist agenda that has taken hold in virtually every western democracy.

Trump had to be destroyed, just like the left wants to destroy the millions of Americans who support him.

This verdict Tuesday is another reason that half of the country no longer trusts our own government, and why millions of Americans of all racial groups and backgrounds feel a need to take steps to ensure they can defend themselves if the country continues down the path it is currently on.
