Obama Widens Income Gap

Wasn’t Obamanomics supposed to close the income gap? According to the Washington Post, “The income gap in America has been widening for decades and the modest three-year recovery did little to change that, according to new Census data. The new data suggest that despite modest recoveries in many states, the middle class has been shrinking while households have been added in the lowest and highest income brackets.” Yet the Left believes that redistributing more wealth through excessive taxation is the answer. And if you needed any indication of how out of touch our lawmakers are, consider this statistic out of our nation’s capitol: The Post reports that, “During the past decade, the region added 21,000 households in the nation’s top 1 percent. No other metro area came close.”
