Brennan Bulletin: Iran Is Not an Ally
CIA Director John Brennan told CBS Sunday that Iran is “not an ally” and there is plenty of reason for concern regarding nuclear talks. “The nuclear program is one issue that we’re hoping to be able to halt, but also we see that Iran is still a state-sponsor of terrorism,” Brennan said. “And so what we have to do – whether there’s a deal or not – is to continue to keep pressure on Iran and to make sure that it is not able to continue to destabilize a number of the countries in the region.” Iran’s growing hegemony is indeed a major problem, especially given it’s support for terrorism – whether Barack Obama’s intelligence agencies will acknowledge it or not.
