“Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’” (Revelation 21:5)
This verse is fitting for the New Year ahead.
In his devotional “All Things New,” Calvary Chapel pastor David Guzik wrote of our New Year observance:
Logically speaking, when we change the calendar from one year to another, there is nothing really special about the first day of the year. Still, something about the first speaks to our God-given love of new things. It’s possible that we could take that love of new things and make it an idol, but our basic attraction for new things is because we are made in the image of the One who says, “Behold, I make all things new.”
It’s worth it to be happy about a New Year. We should be excited about it and receive it with faith, happiness, and some celebration. Simply said, God has some wonderful new things for you this year:
- New mercies, new grace.
- New blessings.
- New opportunities.
- New responsibilities.
- New conquest over stubborn sins.
- New faith replacing old fears.
- New people coming into His kingdom.
If we look carefully at Revelation 21:5, we see that it is Jesus Himself who makes all things new. It’s because Jesus is THE expert at doing new things; what He did on the cross, in dying, in being buried, and then rising again from the grave was all completely new! Let’s receive God’s new things in this New Year. Remember, you love and serve the One who said, “Behold, I make all things new.”
Patriot Brothers and Sisters,
Reflecting on the year just past, there was much for which to be grateful.
The Trump administration 2.0 and Congress have been aggressively tackling the disastrous domestic and foreign policy failures left in the wake of the Biden/Harris regime. It will take more than a year, and likely more than four to repair the damage, but it’s happening. Among other successes, our southern border is now sealed, thousands of burdensome regulations have been repealed, Trump’s first-term tax cuts have been made permanent, inflation has been tamed, the economy is sputtering back, and American leadership has been restored around the world.
Americans have faced significant challenges this past year, but we always rise to find promise and a path forward. One significant achievement at The Patriot Post was the continued growth of our grassroots ranks, which includes a new generation of young Patriots.
Today, The Patriot Post serves millions of grassroots activists and grasstop influencers, those who are doing the heavy lifting “to support and defend” Liberty in their communities, states, and our nation.
Your Patriot team was on the frontlines of many battles for Liberty in 2025. Some were won, and some were lost, but not without leaving all we had on the field. We give discouragement no quarter, and our spirit of Patriotism thrives. We are grateful for the opportunities ahead.
For a look back at the past year, I invite you to check out our year-end Readers’ Choice editions — the Best of Analysis, the Best of Alexander, the Best of Right Opinion, the Best of Cartoons and Memes, and the Best of Valor.
As a primary touchstone for our fellow Patriots nationwide, The Patriot Post tops the list of the best investments you can make in the future of American Liberty.
As you know, we are not sustained by any political, special interest, or parent organization. We do not accept advertising to ensure that our advocacy and editorial content are not restrained by commercial influence — as is the case with all mass media outlets. Thus, our website and email editions are free of the offensive advertising that clutters commercial news websites.
Moreover, our mission and operation budgets are a small fraction of other influential conservative organizations, but our outreach is far and wide.
As a small business with a big reach, we operate on VERY tight margins. We are still slightly short of our Year-End Campaign goal. If you haven’t already done so, please help us bridge this gap and make your gift in any amount today.
With God’s help and the fraternity of Patriots like you nationwide, we will maintain the high ground overwatch through this coming year, do all within our power to sustain Liberty, and extend that blessing to the next generation.
As we reflect on the past year, we are thankful to count tens of millions of Americans among our ranks who are equally devoted to the freedoms endowed by our Creator.
Through this New Year, we will remain focused on the One who said, “Behold, I make all things new.”
On behalf of your Patriot Post team and our National Advisory Committee, thank you for standing with us in support of Liberty.
Happy New Year and God Bless You!
