Planned Failure
Over the last several months, video evidence has documented that the nation's largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, may have been selling baby parts for profit. The evidence also suggests they may be harvesting organs from babies who are still alive. Congress now gives Planned Parenthood over $500 million from federal taxpayers every year, but a growing number of Americans oppose taxpayer funding for abortion and the sale of tissue and organs from aborted babies. The editors of The Wall Street Journal, reflecting the cowering position of the Republican Washington establishment, recently wrote an editorial pre-emptively waving the white flag on the growing movement to stop taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood. And they harshly criticized all those who would try to stop the funding of these barbaric practices.
All Lies on Planned Parenthood
As revealing as David Daleiden's undercover videos are, they're exposing a lot more than Planned Parenthood. The summer scandal is also pulling back the curtain on where several politicians stand. As the first House hearing proved, a number of Democrats seem perfectly content — if not *proud* — to support a group nonchalantly carving up tiny humans for dollars. [Wednesday], their allegiance was on full display, as they doggedly defended an organization whose grisly side business has yet to affect its lucrative relationship with American taxpayers. House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) desperately hopes to change that, inviting women who survived the excruciating procedure Planned Parenthood profits from, to testify. "Do not tell me these are not children," pleaded Gianna Jessen. "A heartbeat proves that. So do I."

It may not be a comfortable position for Republican leaders, but it's certainly a familiar one. Caught between Planned Parenthood and a hard place, the GOP has to decide whether to continue the funding of an organization that's been exposed for trafficking in baby body parts or stand up to a President who has vowed to defend the nation's largest abortion provider no matter what.
Will GOP Congress Fund Group That Killed 327,653 Babies in One Year?
Go online and pull up Planned Parenthood's latest annual report and you will see that the group plainly states how many unborn babies it kills in abortions and how much tax money it gets. In fiscal year 2013, the report says that Planned Parenthood performed 327,653 "abortion procedures." That means it deliberately killed 327,653 innocent and defenseless unborn human beings. The same report says that during the year that ended on June 30, 2014, Planned Parenthood raked in $528.4 million in "government health services grants and reimbursements."
Voters Tired of a Halfway House
Let's hope Congress got plenty of rest in August, because it looks like they're going to need it! With just 12 legislative days to handle a bushel basket of crises, members won't have the luxury of easing back into their routines. [Today's] first GOP conference of September will likely be a long one, as conservatives try to hash out their strategies over two critical issues. On the foreign policy front, members will be tackling the President's deeply flawed Iran deal, while on the domestic side, Congress is mulling a budgetary response to the abominable Planned Parenthood. Before the House and Senate recessed, most Republicans left little doubt as to where they stood on the issues. But where they stand and how they respond are two very different questions for this leadership team.
Wanting It Both Ways
I am frustrated by many things, but intellectual inconsistency is near the top of the list. Unfortunately, many Americans, perhaps even an electoral majority, embrace it. Let's begin with Hillary Clinton. An inadvertently laugh-out-loud headline accompanies the latest effort by Politico writer Steven Shepard to maintain that website's grim determination to promote Democrat Party talking points even as it feigns objectivity. "Can Hillary overcome the 'liar' factor?" the title of the piece asks. Liar "factor?" Anyone else think Hillary Clinton's repeated, documented, shameless, reflexive lying about virtually everything is something a tad more problematic than a factor?

Margaret Sanger is a saint in the feminist church. She is a charter member of the progressive hall of fame. Liberals revere this woman who preached "race improvement" and denounced what she called "human weeds," "morons," "idiots," "imbeciles," and the "dead weight of human waste." Hillary Clinton glows that she is "in awe of" Sanger. She said so in 2009 upon receiving Planned Parenthood's "highest honor" that year: its coveted Margaret Sanger Award. Likewise effusive was Nancy Pelosi when she proudly accepted the award in 2014.

Video number eight from the Center for Medical Progress has been released, containing segments of material from its previous seven videos, depicting Planned Parenthood's gruesome commerce in infant body parts. This includes commerce in intact cadavers. One segment shows an executive of one of its client firms laughing about it. This latest video has provoked a new round of demonstrations by thousands across the nation to continue to raise awareness about the sickening, inhumane, and yes, uncivilized behavior that is tolerated in our nation. And even more unbelievably, that taxpayer funds (more than $500 million dollars annually) are funneled to Planned Parenthood, which conducts this activity.
Obama and the Crazies, Cancel the Dinner, Targeting the Truth
At a Las Vegas conference [Monday] night, President Obama launched into another demeaning attack against his domestic political opponents. Obama told the audience that he was back from his summer vacation feeling "a little feisty" and ready to fight "the crazies" who oppose his agenda. Really? Given history, it is crazy to believe that a regime like Iran's, which is committed to a second Holocaust, will be restrained by words on a piece of paper. It is crazy to think that Cuba, Russia and other enemies can be charmed into friends. It is crazy to believe you can continue to spend trillions of dollars more than you bring in and not face economic collapse.
Inspection Scam, Another Video, Another Cyber Scandal
Remember those secret side agreements that are part of the Iran nuclear deal? Members of Congress haven't read them. In fact, Secretary of State John Kerry testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee that he had not read them nor, to the best of his knowledge, had anyone else in the government. The Associated Press revealed the contents of one of the secret agreements late [Wednesday] afternoon. According to the AP report, "Iran will be allowed to use its own inspectors to investigate a site [Parchin] it has been accused of using to develop nuclear arms, operating under a secret agreement with the U.N. agency that normally carries out such [inspection] work."
Liberal Double Standards and Planned Parenthood
Liberals are famous for shaming conservatives for their past associations with questionable characters, while they exempt themselves from the same standards. What a shocker! Every other week, a liberal Twitter troll cites a Republican politician's innocent appearance at some long-forgotten political event with the likes of a Ku Klux Klan member, hoping to besmirch his reputation. Better yet, sometimes one of them will post a black-and-white photo of such an appearance, as if it's a smoking gun that will end the hapless Republican's career.

Censoring the Real Planned Parenthood
After six devastating hidden-camera interviews, the best Planned Parenthood and its top-dollar crisis managers can muster in their defense is to protest that they were "heavily edited." Of course they were. All video is edited. It's why they call it "produced." Without offering evidence of exculpatory evidence withheld, the charge is as meaningless as Planned Parenthood is evil. Something else has been heavily edited, in fact so completely edited that virtually nothing remains.
