President Joe Biden had a really bad debate. It probably has something to do with the fact that he’s 81 years old and too cognitively impaired to function in an unscripted setting after 4 p.m. He claimed he was exhausted after traveling to Europe two weeks prior, which doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence in his ability to do this job for another four years.

White House aides kept the president’s schedule relatively light, but Biden still managed to turn in a full week of senior moments. “You got to know how to know,” he said during a short scripted speech about extreme weather. Biden also appeared at a gay rights event with Sir Elton John. “I wanna hear a guy, ya know,” he said. “There’s a guy.”
