Self-Hating Jews Side With Hamas
Angry anti-Israel leftists staged a noisy protest inside the House rotunda.
No, it wasn’t an insurrection. And, no, no middle-aged white dude put his dirty feet on Nancy Pelosi’s desk. But still.
Yesterday afternoon’s noisy stunt at the Cannon House Office Building — ostensibly to demand a ceasefire in Gaza amid an Israel-Hamas war that is only now being lost by the murderous thugs who started it — resulted in multiple arrests, perhaps as many as 100, and including three people who assaulted a police officer, according to the Capitol Police.
JUST IN: The United States Capitol has been taken over inside and outside by pro-Palestine protesters as Rep. Rashida Tlaib spoke with a crowd nearby.

Are we only allowed to call people like this insurrections when they are Donald Trump supporters?

What is it with these people that makes them want to throw in with the gang rapists, the baby killers, the genocidal monsters? And worse: Don’t these people have any sense of decency, any sense of respect for sacred places? This was, after all, the rotunda of the Cannon House Office Building, the same place where Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer once donned slave-trading Ashanti Kente cloths and took a knee in remembrance of The Martyr George Floyd.
What’s most interesting about yesterday’s non-insurrection, though, was that many of its participants were self-hating Jews — Jews wearing black shirts emblazoned with the message “NOT IN OUR NAME.” Apparently, in the wake of an unprovoked and barbaric attack by Islamist terrorists who murdered more than 1,400 Israeli civilians and 30 Americans and took 199 others hostage, these delusional protesters still think their fellow Jews can live in peace upon their ancient homeland with Hamas launching missiles and plotting their destruction right next door in Gaza.
The group leading the demonstration calls itself the Jewish Voice for Peace, “Jews organizing toward Palestinian liberation and Judaism beyond Zionism.” The group put out a social media statement: “The root of violence is oppression, and we’re here to say not in our names. We have the power to stop the ongoing atrocities against Palestinians. We refuse to standby as the Israeli government commits genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.”
And we thought Noam Chomsky was a trip.
The same group also protested outside the White House on Monday, along with another group of anti-Jewish Jews, the “If Not Now” movement, which was also present yesterday at the rotunda. We’re certain that Hamas appreciates their support.
Elsewhere on Capitol Hill yesterday, three pro-Hamas protesters disrupted a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing to confirm Jack Lew, Joe Biden’s nominee for ambassador to Israel. As The Daily Caller reports: “The protesters began shouting during the opening statements of committee Chairman Democratic Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin and Republican Idaho Sen. Jim Risch before capitol police escorted them out of the hearing chambers and arrested them. … The protesters, who began shouting within minutes of each other, demanded a ‘ceasefire’ from Israel and claimed that the terrorist attacks on the nation were Palestinians ‘fighting back’ against ‘Israeli genocide.’”
It’ll be interesting to see what happens to these three, given that hundreds of January 6 tourists were charged with “corruptly obstructing, influencing or impeding an official proceeding, or attempting to do so.” These three certainly impeded a Senate hearing yesterday. And last time we checked, Senate hearings were official proceedings.
Finally, we should note that yesterday, at a pro-Hamas rally outside the Capitol building, Democrat Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib doubled down on her libelous assertion that “Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians.”
Contrary to the irresponsible claims of Tlaib and her Leftmedia fellow-travelers, it wasn’t an airstrike, it didn’t hit a hospital, it didn’t kill hundreds, and Israel didn’t do it. But other than that, the reporting was accurate.
Being a Jew-hating Democrat, it seems, means never having to say you’re sorry.
