“This assassination attempt surprises no one but the Left. Since the election of the first Republican president, there have been four completed presidential assassinations. In three of these cases, a Republican was killed by a Democrat; in the fourth, a conservative Democrat was shot by a communist. Despite what is claimed by leftists and taught in government training materials, modern political violence in America is almost entirely the province of Democrats, carried out by their voters and enabled and encouraged by their political leadership. But one cannot assume this will always remain so. On Saturday, we came within an inch of what might have triggered an actual shooting civil war, active on BOTH sides of the spectrum.” —Georgia
Re: Candace Owens Teeters Toward Anti-Semitism Once Again
“I recently watched her first independent podcast and had to stop shortly in. I had been a huge fan of hers and am sad to see her go so off track. I do appreciate this balanced article. I’m endlessly pleased with The Patriot Post. Thank you.” —Texas
“Owens has always been a great conservative, but for some reason Israel and the Jews seem to cause her brain to somewhat misfire, which is so unfortunate, as she is a wonderful conservative commenter. I have no idea what is in her brain, but I strongly suggest she leave the Israel/Jew subject and tell the ‘45%’ of citizens why Trump is the one we need now and not a severely brain-impaired old man. That’s where we need Candace’s focus and energy!” —Nebraska
“Particularly in a generation plagued with historical revisionism and Big Lies, we should not be afraid to question The Narrative™ or the commonly accepted view of what happened. At the least, it provides an occasion to dust off the source materials and make sure they remain intact for the next generation. Nor should we fear the revelation of previously downplayed elements of history. But we must judge with clarity of principles where judgment is needed. A bitter person committing evil on his own is not the same as a state actor. A better comparison is California’s protection of those who slaughter the unborn, sometimes to harvest their body parts for research, even though that is a crime. Kamala Harris had a role in that injustice.” —Minnesota
Re: ‘Let’s Give Joe Another Chance!’
“Roger brilliantly exposes just how bad Joe Biden’s first term has been for Americans. Another chance ‘to finish the job’? Heaven forbid! Our republic — created by the genius of our founding fathers ensuring our personal liberty, free enterprise, and admired exceptionalism — would be irreversibly transformed into a socialist authoritarian state. The progressive Democrat agenda for power and total control with Leftmedia support is the REAL threat to our republican form of democracy. This vital truth must be conveyed to our citizenry, particularly the young, to counter the misleading demagoguery inherent in the Democrats’ incessant ‘threat to democracy’ mantra. Our nation’s freedom and future depend upon it.” —Florida
“It is not surprising that the Democrats are afraid of Project 2025. The mission of the devil has always been to destroy the church, and if you look closely at what they are saying on the Left, they are worried about Christ being infused into the national psyche. Jesus represented nothing more than love and living according to God’s standards. The reason they are rejecting it on the Left is because they are in love with their sin.” —Florida
Re: The Great Cow Flatulence Alarmism Shakedown
“How about getting rid of animals that also produce methane but don’t contribute to the food supply? For every cow that’s taxed, kill a deer or bison. For every sheep, a pet dog or cat. If someone publicly came up with such a suggestion, they would realize how stupid these rules are.” —Ontario, Canada
“This is just another version of left-wing crap intended to cripple society. Global cooling, then a sudden change to warming. We were all going to starve to death back in the early 1970s. Then the oceans were drying up, but suddenly there is too much water (and no explanation of where it goes to, or comes from, since it can’t leave the earth). Leftists want more than anything to limit mankind. And there’s no doubt they would have all been partying had the outcast social misfit succeeded in his effort to kill Trump this past weekend. It’s time to recognize that the Left is evil and hates people. Period.” —New York
Re: Education as We Knew It Is Gone
“What also needs to be considered are the thousands of teachers who have successfully fought back against their union leadership to provide the kind of education that we need. Much of that success depends on what part of the country they’re in and their distance from Democrat strongholds.” —Virginia
“I’ve been advocating for years to make college more like trade school. How much time and money is wasted by taking useless classes totally unrelated to a degree? Why, for instance, should a business major need to take an English literature class? Or an engineering major a gym class? Trade schools are less expensive because they are shorter and stick to the subjects needed. Maybe the federal government should follow that model, too.” —Michigan
Re: RCI: The Huge American Sex-Abuse Scandal
“Just goes to show that evil hides in the darkness. Just glad these horrors are finally being brought to the light. If you’re not trying to hide your filth, then show what’s going on. Parents need to be told what is happening to their children, although there are also parents who go along with this because they’re told to.” —Maryland
Re: Wounded Warriors
“Thank you, Roger, for saying what I have thought for awhile. My fallback position has always been the serenity prayer. I can’t change people, places, or things, but what I can do is love the sinner. I do not hate another living soul, but that does not mean I agree with him or approve of his behavior. I carry an unconditional love for people who hurt and are wounded. All I want to say when someone tries to confront me because he assumes I am conservative is, ‘I love you no matter what, and God loves you.’” —Wisconsin
